Out of the all the admirals, Aokiji was my favorite and I feel he would have been a more fairer one than Akainu. Glad to get a little back story about what happen to the world after Luffy's isolation.
Most spoiler thread I've ever seen. I've lost a bit of faith in the manga fans. :/
I feel like if there was a "spoilers from the manga" topic, it would fill in no time.
Anyway, for some reason I found Zeo saying "I got old on purpose." really friggen hilarious... also when Nami kicked the Monster Trio out. Really liked this episode personally, even the things they added into the anime, but things are definitely about to start getting epic next episode.
I'm honestly wondering if Caribou is gay... because with his ability and the way he acts, he'd make an exceptional rapist. Of course, I guess he can be a gay rapist.
And I still feel like Aokiji would've won if Akainu's ability wasn't the perfect counter to his... not that there's really anything that beats lava, except maybe plasma? But hell, lasting 10 days with Ice vs Lava that's pretty damned impressive.

True... Enough with the spoilers!!!
Anyway, I was afraid that Akainu is the new fleet Admiral ever since we learned that he moved the new HQ at the New World.
Poor Aokiji! He was the only Admiral I liked... But I guess that is why he can't be an Admiral any more :P I hope to see him soon. Wonder what he is doing...
As for Coby being a new Admiral... yeah NO. He is not good enough to become a Vice one. If something like this happens so quickly it will be out of place and kind of stupid.
jimbob1141 said: you cant go from faggot to admiral in 2 years, no way xD
this^ Smoker is a good choice, but he is so determined to defeat Luffy so I am thinking he is not interested to become an Admiral...
And why four new Shischibukai and not just two? I mean we have Blackbeard's and Moria's places and that's it... Am I missing something?
Blackbeard was expected to become one of the Emperors... F*****g shithead....
So the ancient weapons are only 3... My mistake :P And I am guessing Big Mam is Lola's mother??? Makes sense.(about her men, having a tea cup for hat is simply ingenious!)
p.s. Luffy you ought to know what's going on at the World. You can leave everything to luck...
Something bothering occurred to me. IF Shirahoshi gets kidnapped and they need someway to rescuing her, is it possible they would use Vander Decken's (like releasing him) power to do it (like tracking her down to see where she would be taken)?
Luffy having two of the most beautiful and influential women in the world wrapped around his little finger, yet he either doesn't notice or doesn't care. Probably both XD
Looks like Hody won't be coming back any time soon given the fact that him and his crew aged about 80 years and are now weak ass old men.
Loved how savage Fukaboshi was when he basically told him to stfu so the kids don't hear him lmao
Ofc when the SH have been out of the loop, things have been going on too. Aokiji's riding solo now and Akainu has taken Sengoku's place as fleet admiral.
To top it all off, Blackbeard has taken Whitebeard's seat as one of the Yonko.
Basically the governments screwed & two of the top dogs are the guys that murdered Ace and destroyed the Whitebeard pirates.
Loved that Big Mom mention at the end there
I didn't expect a mention this early on since she's only playing a huge role in the most recent manga/anime arcs...but then again that's one the elements that's so fascinating in this series. Nothing ever feels plucked out of thin air because it's built up so well.
I'm expecting great things in the future from both Doflamingo and Big Mom since they're both getting built up quite a lot!

Yeha this guy is really getting on my nerves. I hoped to see him getting beaten up.
So now they are looking for him to get the treasure back and new pirates arrived. Wondering what will happen now o.o
This is a long post so I’m breaking it into spoiler tags.
Now that was a freaking One Piece episode. So, Caribou listened in on Robin who was explaining the ancient weapons of which there are three that are linked to the blank century named Pluton, the one Crocodile was after if I recall, Uranus which I don’t think we know much about, and Poseidon- aka Shirahoshi. These weapons could destroy the world and I seem to remember Whitebeard stating that the One Piece can drive the world into war so maybe everything is interconnected. Caribou’s men survived somehow and have come to the island for him, but before leaving he decided to kidnap the ancient weapon Poseidon, in a very fetish-y way if I might add.
Luffy probably sensed him with observational haki, but it seems that Zoro and Sanji felt it too somehow. Either way they headed to Caribou, and while eating food and casually dismissing the threat of him, Luffy one punched the guy and Zoro said he had forgotten about him. But, three other important things did happen this episode outside of the amazing catching up on the world that we got.
Nami has made a deal with Neptune so that if they can get the treasure they can keep it so Nami sent the three fighting boys to go get him. She also seems to have a quirk now of calling everybody the honorific “chan” which I quite like, or maybe I somehow didn’t pick up on that before. Either way it suits her confidence.
Next we saw that Hordy and his officers had stolen from the Tamate Box, a passed down treasure of the royal family. Humorously, I recall people saying in some of the threads that Hordy’s hair turned white because the pills were making him older, now that seems to make sense. I found Neptune's description of that quite funny, some say that the pills make you tremendously strong, some say the pills just make you old. However, with Caribou stealing it I wonder if there's any left in there, otherwise it would be useless.
Last of the three, Big Mam shows her true treachery by sending candy loan sharks to pick up some candy, AKA their protection money. The minister even said that Big Mam would destroy a country for its sweets, all of which shows that she is definitely not just more greedy than Whitebeard but a big harm.
Now obviously onto the best part of the episode in my opinion, understanding what happened in the world during these two years. I had expected going into this that there would be one new admiral replacing the one who took over for Fleet Admiral. I thought that perhaps we would hear about some of the new warlords. Yet, what happened was definitely unexpected and at the same time in retrospect predictable. Of course we wouldn't understand everything that happened already, the new warlords and admirals should be a big shock, however, we did get some crucial information.
Firstly, Sengoku’s recommendation did hold weight for Aokiji to become fleet admiral, however the higher-ups who are still quite mysterious as they are not a part of the Navy we have become so affiliated with actually want Akainu at the top. Story says these two had a big duel and it shows two sides of them that we haven't personally seen much of which I found quite interesting. We heard that Aokiji wasn’t his normal laid back self but instead passionate and fierce, he clearly does have some strong moral values in the fact that he let Robin go in the Ohara genocide, but here he fought nearly to the death against someone whose power countered his while putting up a great fight for 10 days. When losing, he decided to leave the Navy. That makes him a very interesting character in the world first of all as his allegiances are no longer so set in stone, but it further shows that this was something he was serious about, understandably so. Akainu on the other hand, mister show-your-enemies-no-mercy, gave his former comrade mercy. That is a side to him I don't think we've even gotten close to seeing.
From there Akainu has made the navy an even more threatening force despite losing one of their three powerhouses. I highly doubt that is due purely from Akainu’s overwhelming cruelty and iron fist that he tries to rule with. Rather there's now two spots for two new admirals, Aokiji left and Akainu is now Fleet Admiral, so I think Akainu had to get some unexpected strength and changed the structure of the navy we once knew. It would be charming in a sense if Coby somehow trained haki for 2 years and became someone of that caliber, especially since he personally challenged Akainu. But to see Coby jump in two years to that position, absolutely skipping vice admiral and all that comes before it is so unbelievable that I know that's not the case. Still, I’m fascinated by these new admirals and the rule under Akainu.
Secondly, the other thing confirmed was that Blackbeard most definitely was accepted into the four emperors. He, knowing Whitebeard's territory, was able to absolutely take full control with that knowledge. And he has two of the strongest devil fruit powers, one that cancels out other devil fruits not even knowing how to use haki, and one which is a destructive power that could destroy the world. Further there's a rumour that he is hunting down people with strong powers, I was under the impression that two was the max that he could take and I can't imagine him having an absurd amount but maybe he can pass on the powers that he absorbs into his own allies. Then again Marco said that Blackbeard could only have numerous powers because of his body or something so maybe not. Either way it creates a new and frightening precedent, death is rare in one piece but now the potential strongest man in the world Is hunting people down with that in mind.
So, even though we didn't understand every single little thing that changed in the world, it was a lot to take in and it's much appreciated, the fact that we will personally get to see the changes and the new people and these powerful positions is awesome. One last thing, I had thought that Luffy actually listening to how the world had changed, compared to the moments where he absolutely showed he had no interest in what was not immediately important to him like at Amazon Lily, meant that Luffy was actually treating this as something important. That Luffy treated this as something that could help protect the crew from forces that he was not prepared for, but then when he walked off to start eating and said that he doesn't care it was a reminder that Luffy really hasn't changed that much.
I really love the episodes where you find out what's going on in the rest of the world. Aokiji is on his own now, that's crazy! He seemed cool, I hope he comes back around later. Blackbeard is quickly moving up in the world and is up to another scheme. Old man Hordy is quite the sight.
Aokiji, the better one of the two, lost and is seemingly on the run while Akainu is the new Fleet Admiral, huh. It'd be a lot easier to see the Marines as a villain then, that's for sure.
Once they manage to get their hands on Caribou, the Straw Hats gonna be filthy rich once again. I hope that all of it won't just end up going to food.
This is the trade-off Hordy and his officers have signed up for. They got what they deserved but it was a surprisingly very pitiful sight, seeing the results of their decision throw their whole lives away out of sheer hatred until the very end.
We're finally gonna see more of the Four Emperors!
Woah, look what happened to Hordy...or should I call him Holdie.
I liked this arc for what it was worth, but it's such a relief to finally be out of the dark on how the Grand Line's power dynamics have changed. As suspected, the most reviling characters Akainu & Teach have really taken center stage in the New World. With Aokiji gone, I have to wonder who the new admirals are (or if there are even only three anymore).
Still crossing my fingers and hoping that Captain Big Red Nose Buggy really became a Warlord.
No usen drogas o se volverán polvo niños. Al fin aparecerá esa tal Big Mom. Con que Aokiji ya no es parte de la marina y el maldito de Akainu es Almirante ahora.
So the energy steroid did have side effects after all. I’m glad we got some closure on that. I think Hordy should have died already the amount he took.. I guess he’ll be the first to go.
hahaha Jimbei gets a taste of what it's like to be a Straw Hat
Caribou just loves covering Shirahoshi with his gunk ^_^
those sound effects for those old drug-addled bones cracking, Brutal!
BIG MOM LOVES SWEETS!
Hope we can get rid of Caribou after they beat the treasure out of him (hopefully literally). Been quite the weird side character that catalysed the entire mis-accusations of the Strawhats at the start and then was forgotten for so long.
Akainu being new Fleet Admiral with HQ in the New World will prove interesting (already knew from watching 3D2Y in advance), and expect him to be a lot more ruthless and hand on than Sengoku was. We saw that he was powerful, but Sengoku got too cozy with his position and spent far too much time at the desk. Aokiji leaving is another major point though. Some want him to join Luffy, but I doubt his desire to nnot work under Akainu will have turned his personal morals to the point of going to piracy. If he was to join any major player, The Revolutionaries would be most likely.
As for the Admiral positions. Those even thinking of Coby are smoking some serious crack, especially suggesting he could've 'mastered his haki' in 2 years. We've already seen Luffy. He'll have likely had a better training teacher and experience than the Navy could provide and even then Luffy only mastered the basic of Haki. He still has a ways to go, as seen with his armament. So no way Coby would be at the same level now considering how far behind Luffy he was at the War. Smoker also unlikely. Not even a Vice Admiral before timeskip, seemed to be unaware of haki since he didn't know how Hancock was able to kick him during the War and as Luffy's declared nemesis he'll likely do a Garp and refuse any position too high. New Admirals will either be Vice Admirals we saw during the war, or completely new characters as a curveball. Maybe won't even be Logia power holders.
This run with Big Mam's crew wll make for quite the entrance to the New World for the Strawhats.
So there 3 weapons. The princess is one of them. One is in Albasta. I wonder were the third is.
I’ve been waiting for news of the outside world for a long time. Ice admiral and lava admiral fighting not super surprising. But I am surprised ice admiral left the Navy. Can’t be good with lava admiral on top now. I wonder what he done to make it worst. Also I wonder what role light admiral had in this. Hope we get flashbacks of these events at some point. Colby, Senduka, light admiral, Garp. Very interested in all of there reactions. Also wonder what’s going on with the warlords.
Blackbeard becoming the 4the emperor is not surprising at all. Him possibly getting more devil fruits is scary. I been saying it for awhile but he endgame boss and I have no idea how Luffy will beat him.
Then big Moma one of the two emperors we not seen has crew members show up. I can see her being the next big bad. She might not be as good as shanks or whitebeard.
Great episode. Love these lore drop episodes so much.
