| Didn't really expect to get more insight into Geto, and it seems like we'll be learning more about him in this volume so that's a nice surprise. Wonder how much we'll get. The base chapter was solid, just some simple solid shonen storytelling. |

| Yuta is finally getting the hang of it and can combat without fully summoning Rika. Inumaki is a chill dude. His cursed speech is fantastic but has pretty bad after-effects. Suguru Geto, the main villain here makes his first appearance. So this villain goes way back. Also, he's a special grade and apparently, there are only 4 special grade sorcerers yet. That means Yuta has a long way to go before he can actually be worthy enough to stay at the position of a special grade. |

| Good chapter. Got to learn about Inumaki and Geto first appeared. I like the end snippet in the chapter that explains that salmon means yes and fish flakes means no. I'm growing to like Yuta a little bit more. I'm still conflicted if I like him better than Yuji. Yuta is more like a typical shonen character while Yuji has some stuff that sets him apart. I'm invested in finding out more about the mystery of Rika and how she became such a powerful curse. |
