| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, it's a cute show but I'm not really sold on the characters just yet. Most of them feel like they're the same and idk, the show just feels too girly. The characters to keep an eye on the most so far are Mana and Sayu. I think there's room for character development for both characters there. |

| Stark? It's a shoujo but for some reason airing at late night instead of prime time. Also, I see why the club doesn't attract members, it's the name, if Mizuha just named it idol club, they would've had a least modest interest especially with Mizuha around, she's so cute and lovable. Stella Maris' performance was pretty nice and I like Aone a lot more than her nervous sister Mana. |

| This show has a lot of heart, surprisingly good first episode. The dancing was not CG which is nice and it looked good, i'm hoping the art and animation doesn't drop too hard by the end. The two main characters are adorable together. |

| Art is great and the dance was actually animated which I found very surprising. Stella Maris seems very Roselia inspired. XD Characters are cute and the show did kinda give off some Love Live vibes to it, which is always a good thing. I think the OST stood out to me the most, it's really good. Will look forward to more. |

| The pacing is pretty bad. A lot of nothing for half of the episode before it gets to the point in the dancing scene. The whole premise is very generic. (Finding club members, girls have trauma/complex with thing they used to love, etc.) |

| Was about to drop this halway through. It was cute, but there wasn't any catch. The catchy performance and the energy displayed saved it. Now I'm really looking forward to this, also because I have almost 0 experience with traditional idol anime and I guess starting with a rather ordinary one might be a good idea. |

| Yet another 2Mbps mess from HiDive. Why are they so damn cheap? Just look at the blue sky on any scene and it's a compressed mess. 1080p at less than 6 Mbps is a disaster and even YouTube recommends at minimum 8 Mbps for that resolution. HiDive is just insulting the anime Creators by lowering the quality so much Actual show is entertaining enough. Shame HiDive is trash |

| Another Idol i have seen a million of this ,, They are very much the same concept biggest different are that some idols trying for realism,,, this is not,, And my favourite type is more this the unrealistic happy no problems type of idols ,,, We are of,, My newest but loved waifu Mana is going to her new school,,,Getting a tour by a robot? Robot girl? Well she walks a sound like a robot,,But my precious gem ends up in the rape basement? it looks like it,, Anime!!!!! No raping!!!! NO!!!!!!!! She is meet by a sexual predator alright but it happens to be a beautiful female so its ok,,She can ,, but do it nicely and with love!!!!! and give her a kiss after worth so she doesn't feel cheap!!!!,,I have rules for occasion like this!!!!My girls don't exactly rape,, they more love forcefully!!!,,, Mizuha take interest in my waifu and measure her whole body with her hungry lesbians eyes,,, ooh i like this anime!!!! Good waifus i'm so proud of you,, you don't waste anytime at all!!!!! Its was a very good first episode!!!! Much more Yuri then i thought,, The girls expressed that they have feeling for each other and we are only in the first episode, We already have lesbian flirting and that make me damn happy !!!!,,,,,, You have 8/10 You are so far the anime with the strongest Yuri elements for this season!!! | A bit boring with the beginning, literally 75% of the first episode took place in one room. The character designs are so wonderful though, and I already love the characters so I'm looking forward to more of this! |

| Oh boy I'm gonna end up watching more of this. The first half was quite uneventful. Then things suddenly went full idol mode and things got serious I was rather amused and I couldn't take it seriously. But it has a weird charm so I'll continue watching it for now. |

| That was a pretty solid first episode, definitely better than what I expected going into it, the club president reminds me a lot of Chiya from GochiUsa and that's an insta really like. The character introduction and first interactions were enjoyable, and I'm quite surprised to see no CGI whatsoever (not that it's a bad thing at all if nice, but they are usually way below the levels that works like Pripara, Precure or Aikatsu deliver on that department), let's see if the studio can keep the quality through its run. I will watch one or two more episodes and then decide, but I'm satisfied with what I have seen so far. |

| Well, this will be pretty much my seasonal dose of CGDCT, I've never seen an idol anime but kinda know what to expect. The music and dancing was nice and holy moly, that was the biggest yuri bait I've ever seen in a first episode, gee XD. |

| Surprisingly good start. Really, I had 0 expectations, but even the direction is really pleasant. And as almost everyone mentioned - there's no 3D shit in this series which is always a huge advantage. It's hard to find decent idol series after watching Idolmaster (which will be always my no1 idol series), but I'm definitely looking forward for this one. |

| This was even more cute than what I was expecting. OST was also pretty good hope it will be all like that. Expected Mana-chan to not join but until next chapter, she was easier that what she inicially make me thought. The yuri also feels hard on this one. I hope there won't be that much drama and more comedy on this one tho. |

Idolmaster the Animation is my favorite idol anime of all time. Great character development, awesome dance performances, no CG stuff. Just pure awesomeness. With some idol anime nowadays uses full CG or even half CG and 2D, its great to see a full 2D performance. It feels a bit off since they look a bit chibi looking but then again their middle schoolers. |
