 The official website of J.C.Staff's Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator (A Certain Scientific Accelerator) has revealed additional cast members. The anime will premiere on July 12 at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11. It will also be streamed on AbemaTV.Cast Kato: Sayumi Watabe (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni) Mikihiko Hishigata: Ryota Osaka (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) Hirumi Hishigata: Ayumi Mano (Date A Live III) Yuuko Kaida (Yakusoku no Neverland) and Nozomi Sasaki (Bokura ga Ita) will be reprising their roles as Aiho Yomikawa and the Misaka sisters, respectively. A pre-screening event for the first episode will take place on June 29 at Yunika Vision in Shinjuku. A talk show with voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto (CV: Accelerator) and series director Nobuharu Kamanaka will also be held at Toho Cinemas Shinjuku on the same date. Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator adapts Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, which is a spin-off series of Kazuma Kamachi's original light novel. | I'm not crazy about Accelerator unlike many Toaru fans, but he's still far more preferable than Touma. Hoping the quality of this spin-off is at least on par with Railgun. I'm now catching up with the story of Index through the light novels because of season three's negative reception. |
