| This episode was really typical for Takahashi. His works are always grounded in realism, so it makes perfectly sense he would do something similar here. Good episode. The interview was fun as well and highlighted how much thoughts went into such a mundane episode. |
| This is my second fav episode so far, I suppose. Calm realism and some funny insights as well. This anime is very different and not for everyone, but c'mon...each episode takes only a few minutes of ones life haha. |

| I was expecting something like that from the guy, minus the rotoscopy. 4/5 I know now that (jap.)women aren't throwing their underwear with their leg. @FMmatron Whqt? @Mormegil @Johnny-Jay I thought it was supposed to invite celebrated "veteran" difectors. (and I don't k ow any woman for that). Plus, the list was given several months ago. @CodeBlazeFate No more interested in a japanese young woman's daily life? I don't think so, I haven't read anything about that, plus there's still a few notable female directors. They could have made an effort to hire at least one or two of them considering the format and the fact that Ekoda is a woman. I mean, some of these male directors clearly said they had trouble putting themselves in a woman's shoes, that's frustrating to hear... I'm still happy with the result but they could have gone with a more diversified staff, even the interviews would have been more interesting, less repetitive. |
| The enka-like ending theme summed this episode well: although we live in the mundane world, it's because you can put your own twist on it that life is epic. |

| Rotoscoping was a perfect choice for a "private" episode like this. By the way it's funny that Ekoda's "boyfriend" is called "Maa-kun", it was the same in Ebichu (another gag manga about a single woman adapted into a funny anime), they even share the same traits (or rather, lack thereof, useless guys that are just there for "fun") |
