| Either a new demon lord will appear and they have to beat it with the help of mao-chan, or in the end they reveal some rule that the hero has to kill the demon lord but when they find out mao-chan is the demon lord, yuusha decides to stop being a hero and they all live happily ever after. Iunno, or it could just be pointless slice of life. |

| I'm okay with every way to go for this anime. But, I have some guess: - This will ended up with all peace. Just like what he guess. - Going dark, with some battle finally happen and on of the side could be defeated. This is worst-case scenario, but I doubt it because most of the staffs came from peace CGDCT anime before it. |

| Of course a twist or something can happen, but if stakes mattered so much in this show we wouldn't have the main villain give up in the second episode to adopt a more relaxed lifestyle. Them dropping that "hook" was completely intentional and in tone with what the series is. |
