Good, the animation has been getting sloppy. If production quality increases I don't mind waiting an extra week.

Is this recap episode really necessary at this point (end of eps 18)??
Why don't just put it at the 1st half of the cour before (before both two start climbing the tower)....

We have 6/7 episode more to finish this cour, just continue the story already...
Or it because between eps 18 & 19 have enter a new arc (that now is alicization rising)??
Have to wait 2 weeks for continuation is really hurt...

It's pretty much the only place here they could fit in a recap. Skipping a week at any point beyond here would make them really unpopular. It's a natural place to have a little break. The final 6 episodes are also gonna be almost non-stop action, so having more time to polish up the animation seems like a good call.

Seems like it. Well the fact that they managed to be so consistent with the animation in itself is impressive.

There's a lot to fix for the BDs...
The animation will probably not change even with fixes 'cause
normally they fix faces, backgrounds, etc

Actually they are in the novel 13 called Dividing, not more Rising like have in opening, i think they will be end the first part of anime in the end of novel 14 called Uniting.

soo maybe they need 5 ep for take good all key-situations of Uniting chapter.
