Why am I putting myself through this torture? Why does this only keep getting worst?

The people in this world as so freaking fickle, they change their opinions and the status quo every 10 seconds. Also after rescuing Gai and Ru why the hell would they leave the mayor and his people completely unguarded and a gun on the floor?

This is just so stupid to create more drama and try to make touching intense moments but it only makes things infuriating and ridiculous.

I start questioning my mental health and why I saw potential in the show in the first few episodes...

I totally agree. This is just awful, nothing makes any sense. Why is there a bunny girl? Wtf is the bear from Amagi Brilliant Park in this? My brain hurts from watching this but for some reason I cant stop

Omg same. I'm too far into this to drop it, I'll just go until the end, and let my mental sanity go away with it.

Come on, this isn't that hard to understand. Let alone watch. So much hyperbole and exaggeration. It's like this is the only anime with desperate and immature characters or something.

Not exactly, but I will admit it might be hard to accept if you weren't noticing some earlier hints from previous eps.

That all gets explained. In fact, they basically said the main reason from relatively early on too (episodes 3 to 4). If you really want to know, you could ask in good faith. If not, then never mind.

The show in my opinion is great in the first 6 or 7 episodes, but the quality definitely decreases in these later episodes.

Things get more complicated and, I suppose, a degree of frustration affects certain characters...but I liked the resolution. Which reasonably tied things up.

It's only natural people would lose their rational thinking since they were transported over 300 years into the future.

Finally, Daisuke is talking sense. I'm so sad that Kuroiwa is gone since he seems to be the only reliable adult in this show.

Well, that were some pointless deaths here.
I actually thought the show is getting better with previous couple of episodes, but this one was just overly dramatic.

The only thing I'm still curious about is 2010. Also, Nikolas is quite amusing. He suspiciously acts like a mastermind behind everything, I won't be surprised if it's actually him who kidnapped Daisuke and took Milo's form to save him, what a big fat trolling that would be.

Did Nico just pull a Chiyo-father ala Norio Wakamoto?

"SHADDAP!" Nico is best dog.

Glad Daisuke can think more rationally now.

Mayor is dead, which is good, but we also lost Kuroiwa, which is bad. They will not be able to keep order in Shibuya any longer without them. Daisuke, Izumi, and Gai have to think of something fast. And I hope Milo can find a way to save them soon. Mukyu's starting the attack. The next episode is not going to be pretty...

This episode is where I lower the score from a 3 to a 2/10.

Im still struggling to find even a single grain of originality anywhere in this story. And then Im also constantly dumbfounded by every character's illogical actions. Literally every aspect of this anime is either (a) a trope / bad ripoff 'inspired' by another popular/classic anime, or (b) simply makes absolute zero sense whatsoever.

There's no point in me harping on how bad the animation is; because everyone has already done that, and everyone knows how unnatural the animation is and how ugly the character models are. Probably in my top 10 worst CGI. But, I will say, the ONLY positive thing about the animation here was the Revision's "communication bodies" disintegrate into the glowing blue dust-size particles. That was probably the highest particle count ive seen on screen in anime since Fate UBW, and it didnt seem to lose resolution or drop the framerate.

I dare say that perhaps you won't find much of any. But, more importantly, that doesn't only apply here. Originality is, from my perspective as someone who has experienced various forms of entertainment media over the years, a mere illusion. There's almost none of it left anywhere in modern science fiction or throughout fiction in general.

Some productions might well do a better job of temporarily hiding that reality, to be certain, but there is a finite number of frequently used story models and plot devices. If we were to acknowledge each instance of this, it would be exhausting to watch almost any anime, let alone other works of fiction. Human imagination might be infinite, in theory, but in practice it's almost impossible to tell a "new" kind of story without accidently or consciously repeating what has come before. After all, the creators were born and raised in an environment where they experienced one or more of the existing precedents. In my opinion, there is still some creativity in the ways certain elements were combined, but I would never claim that Revisions was a show aiming for originality as a central goal. Nor do I feel it would be necessary.

And then Im also constantly dumbfounded by every character's illogical actions.

I am not surprised by your reaction, to be honest, because part of us always wants fictional characters to make the right choices and display common sense. But I would still happen to disagree with it. Rather than making me dumbfounded, I find it to be almost natural. Considering what I have come to know about actual human behavior, even the most "illogical" actions can often be rationalized. We can see that during regular TV programs or news broadcasts every single day. It's annoying at times, to be clear, but I can accept it.

Literally every aspect of this anime is either (a) a trope / bad ripoff 'inspired' by another popular/classic anime, or (b) simply makes absolute zero sense whatsoever

In turn, I am quite sure it would be just as possible to dissect many of those "classic/popular" anime in a comparable manner for the purpose of identifying their own sources of inspiration. Very few of them would be the first and only time something was ever attempted. Which ties back into my view of originality not being, in this day and age, a real thing. Needless to say, I do not believe that any particular aspect of the show doesn't "make sense". There are specific aspects that I might find to be annoying, rushed or requiring more depth, but I never had a big problem understanding the basics. I've seen tighter scripts, of course, yet this one was far from senseless.

There's no point in me harping on how bad the animation is; because everyone has already done that, and everyone knows how unnatural the animation is and how ugly the character models are. Probably in my top 10 worst CGI.

"Everyone" would be an overstatement. CGI is, by and large, not popularly accepted in most anime communities. It's usually going to be heavily criticized. Nonetheless, some people have actually praised it, whether in relative or absolute terms. There is always a degree of unnatural movement too, but I would say that comes with the territory. Anime characters, even in 2D animation, are not restricted to natural movement ranges. Having said that, I would argue in the opposite direction. While not perfect, I would rank the 3DCG in Revisions as of an above average quality. Far from the top ten worst, especially not if we are exclusively discussing TV anime rather than some other kind of production.

This episode was very tragic actually. We can see that Revisions are going to execute their plan very soon. We also saw that the people from the city are becoming more and more desperate, and some still want to negotiate with the Revisions.
It's sad to see the death of Kuroiwa, specially after the last episode they showed us the death of Keisaku. He was one of the few adults that wanted to do something to change their fate, instead of just letting the "kids" take care of it. It also seems like Daisuke got some character development, but he is also close to a mental breakdown (first the death of his only friend, now the death of his "leader").
I'm really suprised in how the anime is developing!
Also, I do think the CGI in this anime is very well used, specially in the scenes with more action.

For a moment I thought Keisaku went back to 2017 taking Chiharu's place but that was not the case, such a shame since the kids were starting to have a bit of hope.

Too bad Kuroiwa died since he was the only reliable adult in this mess of an anime. Honestly, the chances of returning to their time seems even more unlikely to happen now.

And on the other hand, I'm a bit relieved that Daisuke is finally talking some sense although it took two people to die for him to realize this whole situation is serious.

RIP Kuroiwa.

It seems that Revisions are going to execute their plan soon.

Last ep was epic. This time, well most Mayor parts are ridiculous. Gai gets himself tied up without a proper plan, and they leave a gun for plot reasons...
Well Kuroiwa & Keisaku two of the best characters are goners. Daisuke took 8 episodes to become tolerable, and Nico's fun so it's not too bad.
