Is this required before season 3?

So I have seen both the first and second series, along with the OVA’s however I have not watched the film yet.

Is it required before season 3? The issue I have is I watch the Dub and the film is currently only in Sub, so not got round to watching it.

Just want to make sure I’m not missing an important plot point or anything.

Please help.

Yes, it is needed. They most likely won't make a dub either.

There's one specific line in this movie that shows it's crucial to the story. Please do not miss this movie, and I'd say that even if it was just "filler."

Not sure why Funimation added the movie is coming, as an extra if their not even going to release it?

Not really. The movie is a self-contained story.

Spoiler alert!

Even so, I definitely recommend watching this movie. It's a solid and enjoyable experience. Does anyone know when are we getting an English dub?
