We finally got to meet the blonde girl! I was wondering who she was.
I hope Sakuta doesn't open the cabinet though. She specifically told him not to :/ I am curious though

The fact that I can watch Acchan and Takamina (AKB48) performing together gives me enough reason to love this. I'm that simple. Also, I am a big brother and my sister used to be scolded by my mom about not getting good grades as I did in junior high but I never asked my sister how she felt so I kinda feel what Sakuta feels and not because I was also a big sister for a long time.

I'll say this right now, I suck at picking apart voices so someone please tell me...
Did the VA's switch or did they not.

Like, when they switched bodies, was it still Seto Asami voicing Mai even though she portrait Nodoka?
And vice versa?

No the same VAs voiced the "bodies" of the characters, which is pretty impressive if you think about it.

So Seto Asami still voiced Mai's body, even with Nodoka inside?

As in, they didn't fall for the classic stereotype of having the mind swap also affect their voices?

Good episode. This new arc seems very interesting so far.

And oh man, Nodoka's mother is anything but a mother. I feel bad for her in that way, she surely has a lot of pressure due to that. Which is even more difficult to deal with when she has an older sister like Mai. Sibling comparison tends to be very common so I can understand her struggle.

All in all, I enjoyed this episode as much as the previous ones. Looking forward to the next one.

Not a bad episode in terms of story/content, but the body-switching element was disappointing because...

Alright, I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I've got a bit of a 'thing' for body-switching, but this didn't do it for me. Two sisters swap bodies, and neither one of them fools around with the other's body or their boyfriend?

All I can do is hope that Kaede and the cat or Sakuta swap bodies.

That ending sure was quite the tease! Really interesting episode and topic again. Was actually more expecting the shift to the little sister if anything his scars. But guess the last couple episodes will be around this topic?

Well let's see if I'm wrong or not! Up to the next episode.

I expected them to be related, but didn't think of her being Mai's half-sister. The story seems the usual sibling that is better and you are always compared to, but I like it so far. I certainly didn't think they would roll with it so easily, but I'm fine with there being no drama about one of them trying to impersonate the other.
I wonder what's in the cabinet. Probably stuff about Nodoka, but then I hope it's actually her who opens it, as I don't think Sakuta is the kind of guy who would do that after being told by Mai not to.

Ah yes... A body swap scenario as hinted from the post-credit scene in the last ep.

Nodoka is actually Mai'a half-sister?! Never expected that.

Show her Sakuta, show Nodoka your SUPERIOR analytic skills that allows himself to predict what has or is going on from the smallest of hints.

Both sisters hate each other, and problem can be traced back to their mothers who want their daughter to be the better one, at least the father should be happy both of his daughters are popular. Nodoka's mother is especially annoying, imagine being constantly compared to.

Not so easy after all huh! Mai can (so far) can handle Nodoka's works but Nodoka can't handle the pressure Mai are used to for her works.

Nice! Sakuta was about to open the cabinet!

Awesome episode. It seems like Sakuta and Mai can't ever get any peace and just enjoy their relationship, huh? Anyways, more development for Mai!

Her little sister was teased a few episodes prior. I'm liking how this series sets up teasers for future arcs but sort of treats them like they're just a matter of fact (like nothing foreboding, except the Shoko one).

Really like this exploration of the sisters' relationship and how their parents' divorce and ambitions actually didn't benefit them, but instead made their lives harder. Nodoka seems to really look up to her and want to get along with Mai and be real sisters. But at the same, she hates her because she's the indirect cause of a lot of her own suffering because of her mother.

I didn't completely get Mai's side. Does she hate her because her father is with Nodoka and not with Mai? Does she also hate her because she's also the indirect cause of her own mother forcing her to join the troupe? What I do understand is that basically this is caused by her parents' divorce and her father's subsequent remarriage.

This show just feels too quick and short. Only 4 episodes left, I need more!

So body swap this time, huh.. ;p
So they're also sister by father line, hm..
Well, all this comparing stuff isn't that relatable to me, I guess.. As well as Mai hating Nodoka for his father's choice to leave family or something?.. Again, a bit missing my experience, I guess.. Which is fine, just maybe this arc will be less enjoyable to me personally, that's all..
Well, in this arc Sakuta is even more pushing his suggestions as truth, what I quite dislike.. Just eh, really.. With him being constant like this, he's becoming more annoying lately, perhaps..
So Mai on purpose told Sakuta not to check one place, so he'd check it, right?.. I guess, it'll be important plot point, and plot won't progress the same without it?..

Body swap arc! Bit suspicious of Mai telling Sakuta, knowing full well what kind of young rascal he is, to not open the cupboard which means it's probably a trap (or just he secret collection of Sakuta related stuff (ノ▽〃) ).

Starting with the episode the new character is introduced in a weird way Nodoka and Mai switched bodies and I didn't expect that way to happen (Already seen her in the past episode on TV and the previous episode) I really thought that Mai forgot Sakuta there

So Nodoka is looking up to Mai and It makes her really anxious we get to see what the half-sister's lives are

So Sakuta is really being stubborn trying to open that cabinet and we'll see what happens next about that puberty syndrome problem and hope that It gets fixed soon

The one thing that really feels weird about the show for me, is that syndromes are written like curses instead of actual scientific issues that relate with quantum physics. I feel that this particular bug is the biggest issue of the show for me. The actual episode itself with Nodoka and Mai bodyswapping was alright and fits with the rest of the show and the issues involved.

Didn't expect Nodoka and Mai to be half-sisters. Damn, their parents suck. They're comparing their kids with each other which caused Nodoka to feel inferior to Mai.

Well of course Sakuta was gonna open the cabinet.

I'm kind of disappointed in this. I really wanted the last arc to be about Shouko which is the most interesting mystery for now, but instead they added a random sister that we've never heard of until now (or at least I don't remember). Her personality is also bad, probably even worse than Tomoe.

Also lol Sakuta, going straight to the drawer although it felt like that's what Mai wanted in the first place. I'm curious what's inside but it's probably just things about her past with her sister?

Last episode, Sakuta's best line was on how one of his best friends is amazing without clothes on.

This episode, it's him telling his girlfriend's sister that he wants her sister to squeeze his face with his legs.

We get a body switching between Mai and her half-sister, Toyohama.

Her issue stems from always being compared to Mai and from her subconscious desire to be her. If she hadn't realised by now, being Mai is not what it's cracked out to be.

I hope she get a good development because so far, she's annoying.

>A new school term starts, Mai doesn't show up in the opening speech, mc goes looking for her.

>Finds Mai's sister in Mai's guise. New adolescence syndrome just dropped. Mai and her sister Nodoka swaps their guises after a stay over. I think this new syndrome is the least interesting one after Sakuta's scar.

>Body swapping has its own difficulties so they get prepared before they get back to their normal lifes

>White cat wakes up Sakuta. Idk, maybe she just tried to smother Sakuta.

>Mc meets with sister. Mai talks about the ice between she and her sister. Eventhough she has an idea why, she just can't talk to her and asks Sakuta to talk her. Nodoka and he go to school by subway. Also while they wait they Sakuta asks if actual, idol Nodoka wouldn't cause a panic riding trains like everyone else. Nodoka replies she isn't as popular as her sister Mai so no one would notice, in a bad mood.

>In school, mc goes to Futaba for answers. Futaba says she thinks adolescence syndromes are caused by one's unstable mental state. Asks Sakuta if he's got any clue, Sakuta says it may be the "inferiority complex against a gifted big sister"

>Mc watches Nodoka take off her tights from a nose distance, while he croaches. Nodoka goes into the sea, mc keeps staring at her legs and talkes about sandwiches, I like sandwiches either.

>Mc decides to do what Mai asked him to

>He does and we learn how the proxy war between parents affected the childs, how Nodoka kept Mai accountable with the fights she had in her family

>after a bunch of coherent inference Sakuta makes, Nodoka also accepts the situation, at least doesn't denies. She feels ashamed and says she wouldn't be comfortable staying in her sister's house for that night at least. She asks if she can stay over in Sakuta's house. Just after she asks to stay over, Mai shows up and asks what's up. Nodoka ends up saying what she kept inside for a very long time.

>We learn Mai also kept similar feelings

>Mai doesn't let her sister stay at Sakuta but she stays with him instead

>Kaede asks mc if he is a gigolo bringing diffirent girls to stay over each day :D

>what to call Nodoka? sister-in-law or half-sister-in-law?

>When Nodoka is being filmed for a comercial, she gets extremely stressed and faints.

>Mai gives her apartment key to Sakuta to take care of her sister. She also tells him not to open the cabinets in the Japanese style room, no matter what(Adam and Eve referance. jk but reminds me of it...)

>mc goes to Mai's apartment and has a talk with Nodoka. He says that she should smile naturally instead trying to smile like Mai.

>He convinces Nodoka to have a bath, so he can open and have a look at the cabinet.

>New words I've learnt from this episode are Yume(dream), daikirai(to hate, kirai is to dislike),Zettai ni(absoloutely, zettai itself is absoloute)

Maybe the real goal of all this supernatural phenomena is to prevent Sakuta from progressing with Mai. It's so tragic that his girlfriend has swapped bodies with her little sister.

Even worse is that both siblings have been under undue pressure from their mom's trying to force them into stardom to outshine one another. It's a mess, one that I hope can be cleared up between the two of them.
