the only thing I see of the anime is only a succession of scattered events and plot points without any background or time to assimilate them, it is not fun to have to listen to explanations, the anime itself should be self-sustaining, railgun will have many defects, but less was more self-contained, here they are constantly bombarding with new names, characters and organizations that are just overwhelming and boring.

This season is trying to give TG re: a run for its money for the worst adaptation of recent years of course!

I don’t know wtf is going on half the time, so I’ve stopped caring. The story is extremely rushed. They’re trying to condense too much information it ended up not flowing well in the process

The characters motivations are unclear e.g. I don’t know what Touma’s group are doing. I don’t know what the Queen & first Princess are planning.

Carissa’s sword ability explanation was overly complicated it’s laughable.

I think it’s safe to say, Index III has been a train wreck.

Bullshit, the build up was completely missing since season 1, season 3 merely highlighted the problem.

What's the point of BR? puppets fighting against their strings, so have Aleister's all powerful image been build up, has it bullocks.

What's the point of British Halloween? The united power of peoples. Where are the goddamn peoples? Who the fuck knows! JC certainly completely missed the main point of the arc so far they are basically crashed into mars.

And let's not even talk about all the characters that got shafted, like poor Hanzou, most likely Birdway would get no scenes either.

The fact SS2 wasn't even animated, also ensures that Railgun 3 and this season's ending would make little sense.

If you watch the episode and then go through it again by selecting random points from the start of the episode to finish and get in your mind the important things that happened in that episode you can keep up

The Magic arcs are pretty straight forward, even British Halloween which by the way haven't even gotten to that part and at the bare minimum at least mentioned that aspect of the story, so if they really wanted to include something like that they can(or rather, must because of the entire point of the climax anyways)

if one assumes that what you see is just a typical shonen it is easy to understand the plot of good vs evil, what makes a story rich are the details and the characterization of the characters, at this point touma or any other characters are completely MEH, this guy goes around the world to fight with the villain on duty and his mega broken powers, but I do not feel the gravity of the matter, the next episode can go to the same hell to fight with lucifer and it will be like any other arc if follow this pacing.

After watching episode 21, my brain got fried more.

I was like finally! i can catch up the plot! then suddenly:

-Misaka worst arrive
-Arch Angel vs Red haired cigarette dude (with Index?!}
-Acqua the dude with big sword arrive out of nowhere
-Academy city attacking Russia. I know why but, is it really needed?
-Real Misaka shows up. and then...
-Misaka sisters?!

As episodes goes by, more characters are being introduced and more questions being created than answers.

Still a good adaptation though. But could be better
