In any case, I read the dialogue you indicated, rather it says that they temporarily broke up because of Kumiko's “egoism” than they did at all. She even invites him to dating with her again when she becomes president. |

Well, what do you want if some fans openly write that any arch without Kumiko x Reina is "bad writing", just because it does not add ship tease to their ship? I can understand people who perceive Liz as subtle romance and refer to Yamada’s words as her semi-official ship of these two, but it really annoys me when people consider romance as the sole cause of absolutely any events in Eupho and therefore, any departure from KumiRei in the second season as "homophobia and destruction of the show". |

Also, Reina has been well aware of the fact that Kumiko liked Shuichi romantically ever since Kumiko tightened her grip on Reina's arm witnessing Shuichi about to be snatched away from her by Hazuki. It is the reason why she constantly brought up the subject. Even before their first and foremost intimate scene when she broke the ice between them by touching Kumiko's lips, she mentioned about the festival because she knew Kumiko's mind was wavering there because at that same moment Shuichi was spending time with Hazuki in that festival. Reina wanted Kumiko to open up to her as she wanted to open up to Kumiko, too. The reason why she constantly brought up Shuichi was because she opened up to Kumiko that she liked ('like' as in 'love') Taki-sensei and wanted Kumiko to do the same. The wanting to peel the mask off of Kumiko is also because of that. Although, the one who did that was Asuka. Also, fans seem to constantly forget why Reina disliked Shuichi. She caught him talking negatively about Taki-sensei with Kumiko. But she only heard half of the conversation when Shuichi was, and rightly so, defending Reina, part of the conversation she didn't hear. Fans need to pay more attention to why certain characters behave certain ways in this anime. Those are not just random. |

If you have also read the latest 3 novels (so it seems, as for your "love" and "Iike" reference) even in them you have hints in both directions. And then you too know that Kumiko's feelings towards Shuuichi are not resolved, right? |

The original release date was Nov 5, 2019 so it's using that as the countdown. The official website has removed the date from BD/DVD page. |
