I'm not much into discussions myself but I've also noticed in MAL manga threads are somewhat meager and it would probably be hard to try and maintain discussions on most cases. D:

How do I find new things to read? I guess everywhere, including my local library, second-hand shops, GR lists and reviews from authors I follow, tor.com site, recs from friends, scanlation groups...I also tend to swap books with one of my friends so we can discover new authors and themes we don't usually go for :D You're right on that GR is a good place to discover new titles to read!

Detailed Breakdown:
Personality: 10 - Hestia is the quintessence of a trash waifu. She exhibits every characteristic most desirable and does so with pinpoint accuracy. Not only does she endlessly fawn over our audience stand-in protagonist, but display near-yandere levels of jealous protectiveness. As an ideal trash waifu should, Hestia does all of the work FOR our protagonist so that he can concentrate on expanding his harem.

Physical appearance: 9 - Loli big boobs. Hestia represents precision Japanese engineered fanservice. Experienced trash fans will find little to complain about, save for her normie hair colour. An outfit variation might have been nice too.

Moe: 8 - While her character design is undeniably kawaii, the true standout performance here is the simple and obvious telegraphing of her feelings. Inferior trash waifus lose fanservice value by forcing us to devote valuable ogling attention to understanding their pointless emotions.

Edge: 3 - Not much edge to be found here, unfortunately. While she has a propensity for getting mightily cross at those who patronise her or show an interest in her beloved protagonist, her good nature and lack of violent tendancies mean that if she were any less overtly sexualised Hestia would run the risk of being branded "wholesome".

Overall, Hestia ranks somewhere near the bottom of A Tier. She's a solid trash waifu for any weeb too sissy to appreciate the need for copious bloodshed in a healthy audience-waifu relationship.

Personality: 8 - What's not to love about a girl who's endlessly dependant on our male lead? Multiple personalities are always a fun quirk, but this waifu loses some points for none of them being explicitly sexual.

Physical appearance: 4 - Fairly bland. Fails to hit upon most of the traditional fanservice elements you'd want to see. Scrapes a few points in the hair colour department.

Moe: 7 - In Nyu form we see character design approaching peak "Moe Blob" performance, with catear horns as a major plus. However, shifting appearance as a result of her multiple personalities prevent this waifu from hitting in the moe big leagues.

Edge: 9
One of the all time greats in this department. Dark and tragic backstory, capacity for needless violence, and a suite of superpowers that are simultaneously under AND over explained.

Overall, Nyu/Lucy/Kaede is a high B Tier trash waifu. The choice to "accidentally on purpose" sexualise her character unfortunately holds her back from achieving true greatness, but she's still a fine choice for a beginner.
