| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought this episode wan't as great as the previous ones , got really confused the whole episode how the Grandmother fitted in untill the last few seconds of the episode. It was a real pitty why she was actually waiting on the trainstation. |

| From the last episode's moments of comedic antics to this episode's eccentricities, Lemon Angel Project suddenly became...anime-esque? I'm not really sure how to describe this, but it suddenly started to really throw out commonplace reactions and goofiness. I think at some point they were supposed to be undergoing Spartan training, but now they're having fun adventures. It's not bad to have fun, as it shows how the characters can act in different situations, breaks dramatic monotony, and allows viewers to explore the show's world a bit. However, I'm not sure if it's appropriate after how cutthroat and mean spirited the past episodes have been. Perhaps it feels out of place? Undeserved? Done too quickly without much of a segue? The ending bit was touching as the end of this retreat from the plot, but I think the last mini-arc should have been saved for the end of the series given its subject matter, as I'm not sure where the anime could go from here. Maybe a group performance to cap off the series? Or, I dunno, facing off against the electronic Lemon Angel group or something? |
