| Ok can we get over Historia a bit? Ok I don't think so, but I don't care about her that much to get interested in her development. I think it was too fast to titan Rod die but if he wasn't killed fast everyone would die. Eren beating himself lol I really hope he's ok now. |

| Maybe now we could finally enter the basement arc, and the monkey trouble could finally make a come back This would up things a lot ! I liked this arc about humanity vs humanity since it gave a lot of shades of grey to various characters, but now I'm really missing the focus on Titan shifters and everything related to them Nevertheless, 5/5 chapter |

| that fight ended a bit fast cannot wait to see eren punch that explosive barrel into that titans face to be animated with historia queen now i guess they can really focus on what is outside the walls again. |

| That was one ugly titan. Gigantic and terrifying though. Good balance between action and character development in this chapter. Cannot wait to see this fight scene animated. It will look so cool!!! |

| That titan is absolutely gigantic, puts even Berthold to shame. I'm liking the development Historia got, definitely a better character now. Seems like this cycle of the Reiss family is unending - every single one of them wanted and thought that they'd use the power to free humanity, but I guess the first king's curse is too strong. It looks like Rod went down fairly quick. Kinda funny how Historia declared her future title in front of a random crowd. 5/5 |

| The situation has been resolved easier than expected but they didn't have a lot of time or options, and the plan was a bit ingenious; although when the titan exploded it looked a very fast moment, maybe it should have been harder to reach the pieces, well maybe during the fall they could cover the space quickly... Erwin is definitelly back in command and still seems able to exert some charisma Eren is still reflecting on his own existence but now maybe he will stop for a bit... Historia made the decisive attack, not sure she would have been able to do that, though in the previous chapter she seemed determined. Now she can ingratiate the citizens taking advantage of that moment. Curious to see what she will think of this new role and how she will behave, also maybe in conjunction with a reunion with Ymir. Seeing that Historia has not completely followed her father, for now Ymir might be satisfied Rod was put in jail; his intentions, along with his relavites' intentions, didn't seem bad at first. As usual something misterious, similar of what can be said about the RBA group too |

That flashback was real, but Rod still failed to do what he himself vowed to do. If you want someone to blame, though, blame the First King - it's because of him that this memory wipe and brainwash among the Reiss line begun in the first place, so you could say Rod was simply powerless to resist it, even though he had good intentions. After all, even Freida took absolutely no measures against the titans. For now, whatever the First King did to ensure the titans aren't disposed of seems to be absolute and unbreakable. Still, it's easy to hate Rod, since he became just another mindless tool. |

| I'm starting to really like Historia. But damn that fight was very lackluster. Twice as big as the colossal titan yet c.t. took ~3 tries and still not beaten. While Rod-Titan just took a few explosives? Meh. I guess this chapter will mark the end of S2 in Anime. So basically it will end with a "TO THE BASEMENT!" statement again. I can't wait for anime-only watchers to flip their sh*t. |

It would be pretty harsh to end it at this chapter when it didn't even show when historia officially becomes queen, which was one of the major part to this arc. |

| Okay, can we get back to the beast Titan and finally go to the basement of Eren's house now? I forgot most of what was going on. Why/when and how did Eren gain the ability to crystalize as a Titan? Well, that's great. I still haven't finished reading this entire chapter yet... |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

Personally, I thought they were just going to give Historia the credit no matter who felled Reiss for exactly that reason, but given the flashes of his memories she seems to have seen, it looks as though she did truly land the final blow. If anyone wants to complain about how she beat out the other, more seasoned Titan-slayers also going in for the kill, I think I can offer an answer: look when she passes by Jean and Connie. She's expelling far more gas than any of the other soldiers we see, which was established way back in the battle for Trost as an effective-but-reckless (and also wasteful) way of moving drastically faster than normal. (For reference: When Mikasa is leading the other soldiers on the charge towards headquarters, Armin observes she's outpacing them not through sheer skill [which the others assume], but because she's exorbitantly expending her fuel.) I'm rather pleased the battle isn't drawn out, here. A clever strategy wins the day rather hassle-free this time around, which is nice to see. Anchor Rod's hands to the Wall, then vigorously apply an explosive direct-delivered to his head, detonated by his own aura of inexhaustible heat. Maybe it'll be anticlimactic to some, but I find it refreshing. Sometimes, things do go well for the heroes. Yaaaay. I also like that they didn't just rely on Eren's newfound crystallizing powers to triumph; that would've be a bit too trite, I feel. On another note, Eren has been showing some striking self-confidence issues now that he's discovered that he isn't anyone special, and his powers weren't ever "meant" for him. That's somewhat interesting. I hope to see this explored further in the future. Agree completely with this :) |

This chapter was interesting, but I couldn't give it a five star rating. I really wanted to praise Isayama's hardwork, but I think I wouldn't be true to what I feel. I'm not sure either. I thought she just simply chopped up a random piece of Rod that was falling down from the sky.
| she just happened to chop the right peace of rod reiss flying meat it's mentioned in this chapter about the titan's nape which you need to cut for titan to be truly killed - "even with a titan body of this scale the true body is only on the order of 1 meter by 10cm. so as long as the true body remains intact it can regenerate its body. we cannot miss this chance." this is why all of the SC members where flying with 3dmg chopping whatever has came out of reiss titan neck after it had exploded and the rod's memories that Historia saw after she had cut his peace of nape probably occurred in the same manner as when she had flashbacks of frieda when he hugged her in the dungeon before she threw the syringe away. because here she basically directly touched him once again and it caused a reaction |
