A teaser website by Production I.G has launched and announced an original anime. Temporary titled Kabukichou no Yatsu, the anime revolves around Tokyo's Kabukichou district.

Synopsis
Shinjuku ward east side... The center of the street with most chaos, There's a Kabukicho with full of neon lights. When the light is stronger, the shadow is deeper. The story begins when certain bizarre murder happens one night! Suspense? Or Comedy? Drama that cannot identify begins!

Original anime by Production IG can be a hit or miss. I'll be optimistic about this although that premise sounds kinda interesting.

It has Durarara vibe to it, which is nice. Not sure about the writer though, he's hit or miss. Hopefully the director is good enough to steer the writing.

Eh this seems alright but the staff is rather underwhelming from what I'm noticing. Will give it a shot tho.

I want to be optimistic about this but the staff picks look pretty lackluster and both the key visual and synopsis are strangely giving me bad vibes. And it being an IG original work sets me off. I'll give it a try anyway though cause why not.

the main visual gives me "hakata tonkotsu ramens" show vibes(which aired quite months ago) but seeing its going to be original anime is more interested me. That way we can expect to see full story. neat.

Is it so hard to do a gender-balanced cast of characters? It's all sausagefests or all-girls animes these days, where are animes like Code Geass or Fullmetal Alchemist?
