The July issue of Comic Ryu magazine has announced on Saturday that the magazine will end its publication with the August issue, which will be released on June 19. Any currently-serialized manga will move online.

Tokuma Shoten's Comic Ryu is a monthly magazine that was launched in September 2006 and went on hiatus between June 2011 and March 2012. The magazine, targeted towards to young adult men, has serialized various manga series that received anime adaptations such as Alice to Zouroku, Centaur no Nayami, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, and Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu. Igai: The Play Dead/Alive by Tsukasa Saimura will end its serialization in the final issue, and a special chapter of Alice to Zouroku will also be published.

Never read a single manga from this magazine. Sad thing to happen but I doubt it ever garnered enough circulation to stay afloat in these though times for paperback copies.

Not really a surprise, it's a niche magazine and the only popular manga that they are publishing is Monster Musume.

So is the story of Monster Musume coming to an end or are they gonna move it to another magazine?? (I'm not familiar with Monster Musume)

The last sentence of the first paragraph is: "Currently serialized series will move its publication online."

I'm a fan of many series from this pub. Glad it means everything's still ongoing. The pub isn't all that niche. It's had numerous anime come from it and I wouldn't be surprised to see Neko Musume or Kumika no Mikaku get one in the future.

Migration of content to online, eh? For revenue, advertisements are expected.

Everything's still going on. Pleased to hear.
