| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I found this episode really, really touching in many ways. The scene where Anne and Diana read their respective letters was beautifully done and really drove home the depth of their friendship. I especially like how the scene earlier in the series when they pledged their friendship was used, a really nice touch. If anything, this incident is just making the two girl's friendship even stronger. |

| wow, what can I say. These past few episodes have been so great, I just don't know what to say really. I loved the first episode, and I've been liking the show more and more every single episode. I'm already sad at the prospect of reaching the 50th episode. |

| Gilbert is still trying to get Anne to forgive him, aww. Nice to know that Minnie Andrews is a nice girl, and I'm a bit sad my theory was wrong. Looks like Mrs. Barry is truly mad and there are no ulterior motives. :( |

| I haven't seen a show which captures the raw dramatic emotions that can come from a child. It all feels so over exaggerated and theatrical but it never feels intentionally done, its more that these girls haven't lived much life and to them losing a friend is like their entire world crumbling. Especially for Anne, who's never had a chance to have a real friend and make that deep bond. Its a very innocent and sympathetic view without a hint of malice while acknowledging the somewhat silly reality of it all which I really appreciate. Anne and Dianna really do have such a deep romantic bond with each other, and I hope to see them get closer, its so sweet. <3 Hopefully Dianna's mom will stop bein a sour bitch and let them be together again TvT |
