| Hmm... pretty rushed, but by this point that was very expected. Cut out a lot of the parts surrounding Climb, Brain, and Lockmeyer finding the people in the warehouse that made all of that have some impact, unfortunately. O_O Are we sure this is for a season 3 and not a movie? That's way too soon! If it really is a season 3, I'm not gonna be able to stay ahead if I keep to the official English releases of the LNs, and I'm not sure how I feel about going back to anime first after how much this season got carved up... Kinda hoping it's an anime-original movie honestly. Edit: Herp Derp already managed to forget that they literally show "Overlord III" at the end of the vid... |

| Strong finish, lots of things skipped but that's inevitable with how big the novels are. The lizards actually had the best quality. Jrivic and season 3 confirmed :O 8/10 |

They really pour all the budget in that episode ... my heart was beating so fast cuz of excitement ... im left speechless ... and that tease of S3 is something i look forward to ... Hope that Madhouse delivers again on the series Loved it so much |

Long answer: Season 1 covered volumes 1-3, and this season covered 4-6, so in theory, you COULD start at volume 7. But I can't in good conscience recommend skipping anything in the LNs, because there is so much that was lost in the conversion to anime, some of it due to time constraints and some of it simply due to the difference in the natures of the mediums. The LNs carry so many more little details that make it feel so alive, the characterization is much better, many more subtle little hints about the future, there are a lot of things that weren't very clear in the anime but are in the LNs, and in some cases there were even entire scenes cut (the one that always stands out in my mind is a major scene in volume 3 featuring Albedo's "sister"). If you still feel like you have to jump to the next story beat, then that would be volume 7, but I and most LN readers would strongly encourage starting from the beginning. |

| I've never seen a man so happy to cut a finger nail. Though the girl didn't look anything like Shaltear. Best scene was definitely Nabe casually chatting with the other maids. I forgot she was one too. Overall season was meh. Lot's of build up for a sub-par finale. Hopefully season 3 will provide something more interesting. Wouldn't mind seeing more Evileye though, would like to see how she'd reacts to a certain other character. |
| Overlord cant work with 12/13 chaps format, too many questions without answers again. Was really fun the maids talking to each other while the masked girl was getting hit really hard, haha. 6/10 for me, was fine. |

| What a way to ruin this franchise. Instead of focusing on interesting characters, most of the screen time was wasted on stock fantasy shit. |

| I guess this was the best way possible to conclude this mediocre season. Looking forward to season 3 now, this here was rather .. disappointing. Aside from that, Nabe chilling with the other girls and chatting while Evileye was fighting in the back was hillarious. PS: Bow down to Shalltear and lick her boots? Yes please. PPS: MAL beeing MAL again, this season has a higher rating than the first, despite all the negative comments. |

| this is the content i waitched for, full packed action with a touch of comedy. i lover every single things that happening here. Momonga and the gang being two-faced as usual like it’s not big a deal, Brain being happy for cutting a freaking nail, and his friends just kind of accept is as the most rewarding achievement ever. and also Evileye cheerful personality after the battle to Momonga, her voice is pretty cute, her face also looks like Shalltear, i’m happy Evileye is fine. and then there’s season 3 announcement outta nowhere, holy shit what a perfect day man. |

| Well, the action finally delivered this week, but it does feel like a lot of other content was cut to make room for it all, which is unfortunate but hopefully not problematic for July's third season (which I'm hoping has much more Ains in it than this season did). Overall, this second season wasn't as good as the first, mainly because it cut back on Ains way too much, and because the Lizardmen arc was absolutely awful and lasted way too long as well. Still, I'm pretty optimistic for season 3 despite that. 8/10 |
| Can anyone answer my question for this arc? IS the person who Demiurge told not to kill is Climb? Is the reason for not killing Climb because princess Renner actually help Demiurge in the capital invasion? If it's true, how deep is the involvement between Demiurge and Renner in this arc and what did they actually cooperate or plan together. Also why and how Renner get involve with Demiurge? |
| This season was kind of disappointing, but entertaining. So many people said that the arc of the lizardmen was the worst, but I enjoyed it much more than this last one. I don't read the LN, so all I can review for this series comes for me as anime. This last episode was quite weak imo, since there was no real impact in the world after all they did. Sure the names Ainz and Momon are now out in the open, but thats about it. No closure about that weird princess, or even any closure of what the lizardmen are doing now. Or even what they're gonna do with all the humans they abducted. Did I miss something? I really like the show, but as a wrap up, this episode was kind of a let down. |

| Good finale to the season. It was pretty cool to see what Demiurges plan actually was. Action was nice and it was pretty decent wrap up. The final scene has me intrigued. Overall, it was a good season of Overlord. Nothing really stands out as amazing but it was still good and overall entertaining. 7/10 |

| Wow. Well that sucked even more than I was expecting for a season finale, and I had low expectations in the first place with how disappointing this entire second season has been. I can maybe guess it was probably better in the LN, but all the arcs in this second season were pretty bland to begin with story-wise. I don't see how they would be that much better in the novels. I love isekai light novels but Overlord is definitely one series that I never really liked too much (even the first anime season), and I will definitely not be reading the LN any time soon. As for the third season, I'll probably still watch it when it airs in the summer as 20 minutes a week for 13 episodes isn't that much time. Still, I'm definitely not going to invest any more time in this series than that though. |

| Rushed last episode, It would leave a bade taste except the announcement of S3... makes most people just shrug it off. Probably what they were aiming for, lol. Overlord S2 was fun. Ups and downs like any other series, no biggie. S3 in July is great. After Spring 2018's line up, was wondering how Summer would follow up... |
| The last time I saw a queen termite was 19 years ago and counting. That's what I feel when I was looking forward for Albedo screen time. It's so hard to find one. |

| Previous season was better, really disappointed with this one. Hope S3 will not regress as well. I really like the concept and characters, but as of now almost nothing makes sense. |
