| Today I had watched the three movies of Berserk and half of Berserk 2016. So can you suggest me which one I should continue with anime or manga. So is watching the anime worth. Mod edit: Removed where to read manga. |

| I haven't seen the 2016/2017 Beserk but I have heard that those two arrnt all that good so I would recommend the 1997 version |

| Don't bother with Berserk 2017. It makes the most sense to read the manga from scratch. I would also recommend watching the '97 anime of the Golden Age arc since it does a lot of things right. |

| I'd recommend just reading it all from the start and once you're up to date give the 2016/17 versions a try. Watch the 1997 anime too, it's really good. |

| Why haven't you watched the 97 version? That's the only one you need to watch (along with the third movie) before you start the manga. And start the manga from the beginning. |

| Berserk is top quality. But is suffering to following it by chapter when you catch up. Author is slow as hell. Expect it will probably never going to get a real end because he is going to die before it in this pace. Or the ending will be totally shit and rushed :P It´s up to what 20 years now? But has great art! |

| I think I'm the only person who thinks that the 1997 version of Berserk is superior to all others, manga included. The arc Berserk 1997 covers is by far the best one and it makes it even better by cutting out the stupid comedic relief. Everything after the eclipse feels like edgy for the sake of it and eventually any horror is diluted because we've seen worse things which actually have emotional weight to them. At some points the Berserk manga feels like filler and just like an edgy battle shounen. Not to say it's bad, it's certainly a great manga, but it's got nothing on the 1997 anime. |

| if you want to continue from the three movie, you can jump to chapter 93-94. you left some of the good stuff in the early chapter though (chapter 9-11 or 0.9-0.11 for the story of Guts childhood). the first 8 chapter (or 0.8) is non-canon to the story i think, but the opening episode of Berserk 2016, the introduction of Puck can be found in chapter 1 (or 0.1), it’s very different though. Berserk 2016 has left out one Arc in the manga, the Conviction Arc (Lost Children Chapter) go read it (chapter 95-117), its kind of explicit because it’s involving a lot of kids, maybe thats why it’s not adapted. but for the love of god do yourself a favor, finish the half of Berserk 2016 and stop right there, and rewatch it again by reading it. you will be hooked by it and you will not realize that reading 300+ chapter is faster than you think. if only Berserk has a pace of One Piece, sure it will blowing up like hell |

| Berserk has one good anime adaptation, that's the 1997 anime. The rest is shit. It's best to watch the 1997 anime and read the manga from the first chapter. |
| You should have watched the original TV series instead of the 3 movies. Movies removes so many details and stuff that are on original TV. The 3rd movie is the only one worth watching, but 1st and 2nd movie did not have any new content over the original TV series. As someone who don't read manga, I would recommend watching the original TV series (from 1997) then continue with Berserk 2016 and Berserk 2017. I personally liked Berserk 2016 and liked even more Berserk 2017 (Griffiths comes back in 2017). The animation did not bother me like many people The manga might be best version (when it comes to story), but I prefer watching anime that has voice actors and moving characters over colorless non-moving characters with no voice actors. It is up to you |

There won't be a 3rd season since the anime looks like a school-project and not an official adaptation. If Berserk ever gets a new anime, it will be by another studio and it will probably be done from scratch. |
