----------------------------------------
Alrighty then... So this chapter we are indulging ourselves with more meta-memory-manipulation mysteries that involves finding the post-humous manuscript for a famous (and dead) mystery author, Sanaga-sensei, for which Kyouko is a huge fan of.

Okay, so it seems Kyouko does have memories from before she had amnesia, but the trippy part, and the one made most clear by this chapter, is that we will never have any way of knowing about it the way she is now. Yaku is too shy and their relationship isn't nearly close enough (nor will it ever be) for her to say it to him willingly. Kyouko didn't even want to tell him when she started losing her memories, which would have been given away if she told him how many of Sanaga's books she remembered, so she is definitely intent on concealing her past. "Kakushidate" means "someone who's concealing a bad past", if we go by pronunciation, so there is obviously a correlation to how Kyouko is calling him "Kakushidate", and how she conceals her past. Perhaps it's the way, or how much she interacts with Yaku, that's the true symbolism here. It's quite possible that Yaku is the most frequent requester, or perhaps even her only requester. Interesting indeed.

By the way, let me just say that NisiOisiN has long broken the rules of his premise... again.

Oh! Possible easter egg!
"I had asked so much from Kondou-san, so in that case, I’d have no choice but to take responsibility, and call the most proficient detective registered in my phone, a true omnipotent detective with a hundred percent crime resolution rate… I wasn’t up for that."

I probably caught on because I have been anticipating something like this, but I believe this is alluding to Aikawa Jun from the Zaregoto Series.

Wow, all of this and I still didn't write about the mystery... So the mystery this time around wasn't the least bit straightforward, but it was just comprehensible enough to get you when you realize that all of the clues were basically puns. Goddamit that correction tape.
At the end of the chapter, we realize that Kyouko found out along the way that her favorite mystery author has passed into the afterlife, and apparently there has been an "incident" at Sanaga's funeral, and there is the cliffhanger.

Oh also did I say it, or did I say it? Kondo was going to pop up again! I don't know how much of an accomplishment that is, but I feel like bragging so leave me alone.

Also, another possible easter egg! (only much more ambiguous!)
"Thick soled sneakers and denim shorts. A half-sleeve shirt dress, an orange vest, and if I had to say, a considerable amount of exposed skin"

"Kyouko-san did turn to me at that one. As she turned to face me on all fours, it just made it unreasonably sexier, but averting my eyes made me feel even more indecent, so I feigned composure, remember the last case…"

The first one is admittedly very vague, but as Hanekawa wears denim when she is the Sawari Neko in Nekomonogatari: Shiro, it could be possible that is what it is referencing. The second one at least describes her similarly to an animal, like a cat, to describe her sex appeal. Araragi would just point to the size of her breasts to describe his hormonal attraction to Hanekawa, but as this is from the perspective of a less-sexually active adult in a mystery series, I think this could also be another nod, suggesting that Kyuoko is Hanekawa.

I think what staples most of this theory that Kyouko is Hanekawa together is how both Yaku and Araragi admire them respectively. I don't think this is a coincidence:
"If I was in middle or high school, I might have thought differently, but I was already twenty-five. While unemployed, I was a splendid adult. Just a little too old to move on the impulse of admiration alone. I couldn’t help but put it all to addition and subtraction to calculate what was to come. Whether we suited one another, I put my feelings on the scale to come out with an answer."

Much more mature than Araragi was back in Nekomonogatari: Kuro, but this definitely conveys the same message Araragi learned back in Neko: Kuro.

Maybe I spent too much time on this aspect?
Either way, Nisio could just be trolling me by leaving false clues, or perhaps I am just looking too far into it?

At any rate, I can't wait to read the next chapter!
