(Please do not mind if the sentence is somewhat strange as this is machine translation)

I doubt whether there was a need to rekindle the fiance problem in this chapter.
Because I think that it was a problem solved with the teacher that appeared in the early days.
This time the opponent (the master of the coffee shop) is a type completely different from that teacher, I do not think that it is an episode necessary for this work

This arc is very disappointing.
It feels like every romance story, whether straight or not has this mandatory arc and its just so unnecessary and boring.
We know who her arranged fiance will be.
We know once he finds out that she is Yuzu's love interest he'll simply back off.

Its just so unneeded. Can't we just get a good romance story?
This arc annoyed me in SAO TWICE and annoyed me in Masamune Kun Revenge or whatever.
Always ends predictable and was never necessary to the story.

Well, damn... Every time you think this author has finally gotten over causing them this kind of pain again, something like this comes along.

Does the manga only update once per couple of months? Cause I'm thinking of dropping it to pile up the chapters

It's monthly, but sometimes it takes a break for a month, for whatever reasons there are. New chapter should be out for January soon.

It's monthly...december skipped, I think because of the beginning of the anime

I sense some drama coming next chapter. I feel like it's unnecessary but I really hope this won't end tragically.

I hope what your're saying is true, in that case it'll be sort of a happy ending (?). But if not, it'll cause a shitstorm within the community, I'm kinda interested in seeing that too

I was reading the vol.8 special 33.5 were they show how shou and yuzu's mom meet, and at the end of the chapter I was reading Saborouta's message and it said "Well then pray for a happy ending for Yuzu and Mei". Is the manga nearing its completion? Is this the final arc? I'm too worried, I love this story so much and couldn't bear to see it finish. What do you guys think?

Honestly, I prefer stories that have a proper ending instead of needlessly dragging things out. And this series is starting to stretch it a bit too much with the drama already, although I doubt it'll ever get as bad again as with the blackmail.

I too prefer that stories have a proper good ending, but I still fill that Citrus has a lot more to show us, there are a lot of things that we still don't know about yuzu and mei. Also will mei and shou's relationship be fixed. How will their mom, dad and grandfather accept their love? There are still too many things to do with this story that won't feel like is being drag out. I really could read this manga for the rest of my life and I still feel that we haven't had enough of it.

If it were to handle these problems instead of throwing yet another random obstacle in their way, yes, agreed, I could read a lot more of this. It would certainly be great to see these problems to be solved. Hopefully this arc will get us closer to it, rejecting another fiance could mean coming out at least to the family to properly give them an explanation.

Exactly, I'm pretty hopefull that this arc ends with them coming out and that it also begins a new journey in them dealing with the obstacle a couple like them would face. I just hope this isn't the last one is all

Wait a sec, the coffee shop guy is to be the new fiance? I did not catch that at all

Wait, what's all the talk of the manga ending? I feel like the romance has only just begun, surely the success of it will keep it going. This chapter confused me a bit, but it doesn't signify an end to me??

It's not ending yet, I'm assuming it'll be around 50 chapters long, 'cause the whole story is already stretched out. Even though I enjoy how they prolong it, it doesn't really affect the plot in a huge way, just adding new characters and slowly building momentum towards the ending. I just hope it won't end like OreImo did...

Oof. I wouldn't mind it if they drew this out though. I enjoy it quite a bit. It's a very unusual manga in the sense that it actually makes me think and feel, while usually I dislike or don't relate to the characters.

Indeed, I was never so addicted reading manga in my life. Damn, I never even imagined that something like a yuri romance would create such strong feeling of addiction to the story, to the characters. The past me wasn't expecting this at all.
