| I actually thought this series sounded kinda weird. It just sounds so random haha. Big I HAD to watch it because I like Sanrio..and I'm also completely obsessed with my melody so just knowing she would be in this series made me want to watch it so much more. All the Sanrio visual are SO cute. Especially in the ending with the cute dolls. I want that my melody XD I have to say that I really liked the episode. The grandma part broke my heart. I was trying so hard not to cry. Poor grandma 😭😭 I hope they make merchandise of the Sanrio characters haha. I've seen merchandise of the Guys in the Sanrio characters. They are cute! Excited for the next episode and especially for more my melody. I've always said she was my baby and this guy is calling her his princess. I'm glad we have something in common but I can't help but feel a little jealous XD |

| While I enjoyed the show, I was not surprised by it's lack of quality. It is clear to see that Sanrio Danshi is a clever piece of advertising aimed at an older female audience. The characters, each sporting their on trope and Sanrio character, are void of any actual personality. They seem to have no depth other than, he's athletic, he's a player, bookworm, normal. Even the MC, who I usually can give a little pass on personality at times, came off as extremely bland. I had no investment in his character, and even when his "tragic backstory" came it didn't feel tragic because of lack of investment. This is in no way to say that the show isn't enjoyable, despite it's flaws, I think it knows its audience and deliver what was promised. Cute boys of all types with cute characters. It would be a lie if I said I didn't get giddy when the wall slam that was teased in pv happened. While it is something fun, I must admit it lacks the quality I would usually go for when watching anime. |

| Bratty kid MC in the past. Not excusable. What a piece of crap. And even as an older individual, he still didn't have the balls to be himself and like whatever he wanted to like even when his grandma died. What a slap in the face of the grandma. What a poor excuse of a human this guy is. "Ohhh well he'll be better now that he knows people who are into the same thing". It's too late. You should be able to be yourself even without others. He's a piece of crap. 0.5/10 Disgusting. All these abs are disgusting too. It's gross. I should have looked more into this before I picked it up. This season, I just kinda grabbed stuff off the shelves without checking the nutrition facts. I goofed. It's worse than I thought and my expectations were already really low. I don't know what to say anymore. |

| Someone I know spoke highly of this, that's how it ended up on my PTW. It's not terrible, but it's not great, and the product placement, it's just too much. And yeah I'm used to watching stuff that's basically promotion for products. But this crossed the line for me. Dropped. |

| I wasn't sure what to think at first, but by the end of the episode, my interest increased. I was worried that the main characters were straight, but it's clear that they're all secretly queer. :P The backstory showing Kouta's relationship with his grandmother was truly saddening. Having any negative feelings toward someone, or anything negative that was said as the last thing said to someone before they're deceased is something that can haunt you for the rest of your life, even if you know that you were still loved by that person. Embracing his feminine past is in a way, the only way Kouta will truly move on. It's like his "apology" to his grandmother in a way. Also, no Keroppi? C'mon. Or maybe Keroppi isn't girly enough or something, lol. |
