The Mausu Promotion website has announced that seiyuu Tamio Ooki died in the middle of treating a sickness not mentioned on Thursday, December 14. He was 89 years old.

Ooki voiced Genshi Tenson from Senkaiden Houshin Engi, Umatarou Tenma from the 1980 version of Tetsuwan Atom, Tonpeti from the 2012 version of JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken, Daisuke Aramaki from the Ghost in the Shell movie, and more. He also did Japanese dubs for foreign movies such as the X-Men series.

Damn, he only voiced supporting roles on his entire career?
Well, at least he lived long and died because of old age. Also didn't died because of overwork.
Anyway R.I.P. to him it's "a well deserve" rest from this shitty world and he wont suffer anymore.

Definitely a legend in my book, quality body of work, and I am sure he had a quality life. Condolences, but I'd celebrate this prolific person.

Rest in peace.
