| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fighting a monster that uses tentacle-like threads together.... They made that thing look like some boss from a video game. As strange as this episode was, it did make usage of of showing what the girls are capable of. Also, a good lesson to learn...don't piss off Rito. |

| Everyone is praising Mari and Kotoko's art, but not Rito's. She was feeling down about it. Scoopers took her art and she got really mad. Rito managed to defeat it. The girls are covered in those spots again and Misa said they're not human anymore. |

| lol I was just waiting for this anime to pull a Madoka twist out of nowhere. I was ready. Saw it coming. jk ... only in part though, I'm really curious to see how this situation develops. |

| Somehow, I got tired with this show. It's the same thing every episode and I don't feel like spending my time watching this. I don't think it deserves my time especially yeah it's the same thing all the time. Dropped. 5/10, but 6/10 for the girls because they're all cute, but I can't watch this show anymore. |

| are those... TENTACLES I SEE? I get that that was suppose to be sad and all, but like, this anime is slow, and tends to have weird pauses, and the characters themselves are just kind of... eh? Anyway, episode was fine, girls are apparently not human anymore though. |

| Haruna's abilities are very limited and she was exposed again. They shouldn't ask her to do intense lines. And it really d r a g g e d. Felt like an hour show. |
| This show is melting my brain, I should stop. It's giving me flashbacks to watching shitty children's educational shows on TV when sick from school, coincidentally also feels like a fever dream because of how long it seems to take to finish a seemingly 20 minute show. At least real magical girl shows know their audience, Urahara is supposedly made to show how great Harajuku is and the girl power of its female creators. But instead has tentacle porn with no actual ecchi reward, who is this for? This show's concept just comes off as pretentious hipsters annoyed with aliens gentrifying Harajuku, elitist garbage with one-dimensional characters has no purpose, I want to like this show but it's too hard. Hopefully the ending of this episode gives way to some kind of engaging episodes. |

| I absolutely don't get all this harsh criticism... especially in this topic, for an episode that actually changes things up mood wise and plot wise. I was very surprised and even upped my rating for the show after this one. Yet there are all these people saying that "oh it's all the same every episode" excuse me?! Have you been watching with your eyes closed or something? Anyway, I hope this subversion doesn't change the show too drastically. One of the reasons I love it so much is because it was so pure and bright and naive. A twist makes it more interesting but hopefully things can resolve without getting too dark. |
