| Probably the abandoned/neglected child trope where her parents aren't with her. She has nothing and has lost all motivation to live and simply doesn't give a crap. You saw her in the first episode where she rides her bike like a daredevil saying that she will either die or get a pencil. And since she lived through the traffic, pencil it is.
