Trying to avoid spoilers in this thread like. Seriously stop posting fucking spoilers that kill the excitement for those who haven't read the manga. It's not that hard to use spoiler tags you know... Anyway I want to give Nanachi a big hug! I love the way she teases and trolls poor Reg, especially when she tricked him in getting her dinner. Despite deliberately avoiding human contact she's kind in helping save Riko. I'm keen to hear more of her backstory later on as it looks like she has quite a tale to tell, especially with Mitty and her flashback with Bondrewd. And no Reg, you don't need to ask her 16 times to save Riko, she doesn't seem that heartless... Looks like Reg has regained some of his memories and had previous contact with Lyza. I wonder what his role or purpose is in the grand scheme of things? Apart from being a 'robot' we don't really know much about him... Intriguing. I'm definitely looking at joining the exclusive manga readers club once the anime is finished, but annoyingly I realized that the English paperback isn't coming out until January. Hmm to pirate or not to pirate? |

| At first I didn't like Nanachi's VA, but now I really liked it. Also love her/him so much. Bonedrewd's voice was something tho, almost as how I imagined it when reading the manga, I loved it (gotta love Nanachi being patted on the head, pls send me a gif of the eternal pat) |

| Nice episode. Nanachi's a fun character. And damn, is Mitty that girl in OP? :( What were those girls doing at the depth of sixth layer is beyond me. I'm interested how Nanachi looked while she was still human tho. |

| Another impressive week, every time is improving this anime, leaving new unknowns to respond, definitely the best anime of the season, if you ask me the reason because I say this, it's simple, this work of art give me back the joy and pleasure of watch anime that I didn't have since I first saw monogatari series. Dropping it now would be very stupid of me considering there's only 2 episodes left. Don't tell me the manga is covering every layer of the abyss and them exploring it. Who knows how many layers are there. I bet if it becomes super popular, the author will milk the fuck out of the fans and make it as long as One Piece while repeating the same process over and over again. |

| After reading ANN's review of this episode, I'm really getting tired of this whole "children being nude/referencing genitalia/bodily functions is gross/off-putting" thing. Like, how repressed are we that we are made so uncomfortable by children being naked/talking about natural bodily functions/parts in a non-sexual manner? I realize the manga is different, but the anime has handled this stuff incredibly tastefully and I applaud them for being so blasé about it. This puritanical view of sex and anatomy does nothing but harm, can we please just be open and honest and stop being so ashamed of our humanity? |

Does it not confirm the amount of Layers in the anime? Cause I'll reveal it, not much spoiler tier anyway There are 7 layers, there could be a possible 8th due to the unknown nature of the deepest point of the Abyss. It's impossible to milk this shit cause they are already halfway in Maybe they did and I missed it. It can still be milked if the author slows down the pacing even more. IF it gets popular I doubt the author will end it that quickly. |

| Another very good episode! Nanachi knows it all! Reg should be grateful for Nanachi because she pity them and watching them all the time that she decided to step-up! Mitty is simply bad news for me...that thing looks like an abomination! Nanachi is awesome! She's an exception among exceptions! Who is that person who loli Nanachi is speaking with?! her mentor!? The part of the Shroombear was interesting! Especially Nanachi's explanation of the water-mushroom which are parasitic! The world-building environment of this series has unique concept! Looks like Reg has another hallucination! Oh no Mitty is curious about Riko! 5/5. |
