| I was still reeling from the shock that I felt from seeing that kid getting his mouth sewn shut and his blood sucked so the Boss suddenly getting a fatal blow on Abbacchio ended up hitting me like a truck... They were so close to finding out the truth only for King Crimson to burst a hole into anyone who just so happened to be unlucky enough to get a clue on what's going on. Damn. |

| This was a dynamic section. Major body horror from Risotto changing the dynamic between the hunter and the hunted. Buccelati chased after the boss like Jotaro hunts rats, the breath tracking and silent hand motions helped create a sense of building tension. Giorno and Mista are alerted of what's going on, and our boy Abbacchio is on a timer to success or death. That's basically all I have to say, this had such a great sense of flow and scale and tension, it was a blast. Props to the boss for swapping places with a kid, that was a sick plan. I guess it's also interesting how the boss continues to be portrayed. Losing the battle over Trish earlier, and now being mangled to the point of eating frogs while crawling through the dirt. He may have a strong power, but he reminds me of Kira in the way that he's depicted struggling against the heroes. Struggling in a way which isn't glorified or badass. |
