----------------------------------------
Well this episode was amusing.

Kaisar not being comfortable with what Azazel has planned, Nina still lingering about her recent date while helping out Rita around town, and also more building up towards the inevitable battle between human and demons. For what's worth, I think this series does a decent job at balancing the comedy and action in this show. ED card art:

Nina is kind of annoying me with how clueless she is to simple things. Such as battles going on. I'm beginning to feel so much more grief for Azazel as he has a lot of heartaches to face in the next coming episodes. I had a feeling like something such as this episode would happen. Kaisar still seems to feel conflicted in how to handle the situations.

I feel the same way

It's pretty frustrating how she's acting now that she's so infatuated with Charioce.....I'm pretty sure she knew what Azazel needed her help for and she's just acting like a huge bitch towards him

I feel bad for the demons....Like really bad and especially for those two that were leading the resistance with Azazel. I wanted the girl to survive but sadly that doesn't look like it's gonna happen :(

This episode was a great payoff after all of the build up towards this moment but I really hope that Nina sees this and realizes how much of a monster he crush really is

Yeah, basically they are trying to portray her as just a typical teenage girl with a crush but it's going a bit overboard lol. (I mean it's anime tho so what can you expect?) Yeah....that surprised me. I liked those two demons the most out of the whole resistance group. See thing is that I can easily see them just trolling us most of the show. Where Nina will run into "Chris" a few other times but never know who he actually is. I feel like that will annoy me very quickly.

Where the hell is Favaro. I cant stand this season, it is way too dark, it needs Favaros´s humor. Also, Nina constantly going on and on about her feelings is starting to get on my nerves. The last three episodes I have skipped through them just to understand the basic plot but nothing more because im getting bored. That being said, I can understand why some really like this series, its just that its not my cup of tea, the first season was more enjoyable for me

Wow, this episode was rough. I feel pretty bad for Azazel now..it is kinda his fault for not telling Nina of his plan though.. so you can't really blame her.

The excitement. The feel about an invasion that comes "perfectly" while everyone having a parade.
And Nina, I can say she gets better of controlling her emotion now... WHICH seems to be a bad timing for that. LOL

I feel absolutely no sympathy for Azazel. He based his whole plan on forcing Nina to turn in to a dragon. He didn't tell her the plan because he knew she would reject it.

Great episode. Nina still being hung over of her time spent with Charioce and wanting to attend the parade was pretty cute and all. It's kind of nice that now she most likely won't turn into a dragon around guys who are just hot and doesn't have feelings for.

On the other hand I feel really bad for Azazel. I mean, I really can't blame Nina even though Azazel did made it pretty clear that he needed her help. It was pretty sad to see his people get destroyed towards the end, especially that hot, tan demon girl.

Can't wait for next episode!

The demons are making the situation worse for themselves. It's also Azazels fault for not telling Nina the plan. He tried to make her transform, but it didn't work. I feel no sympathy for him. She's clueless what's going on, but I can't really blame her. She never experienced love, so of course she's acting oblivious. It's sad seeing the demon girl getting squashed like a bug.

Azazel is an idiot. did he really plan all of this basd on the chance that nina would turn into a dragon. he should have gave this more tought, at least come up with a contigency plan it should it have failed. This is going to come back to bite him hard not just from the humans but even from his fellow demon side.

I got ot say i am really enjoying the direction this series is going, it is the first time in a while where i really do not know where the plot will go. i have not felt that in quite a while.

As for people keep asking for Favaro, i will keep telling him he will appear in the second half of the story. ok just wait.

Well, I was excepting this outcome. And even though it's entirely Azazel's fault, I still hope he won't die and somehow learn his lesson after losing his comrades. Poor demon girl, I don't think she will survive this but... I still hope to.

Pretty awful series overall.
Nina's "teen in love" character is just too much to handle, along with that clueless nature. A complete waste of a protagonist.

Azazel was way smarter in 1st season and was more interesting of a demon I guess. Demons in literature are said to be masters of seduction, aren't they? So what the hell was with that cringy scene with Nina and him. And to base only one plan on such an uncertainty. Meh.

Zombie girl is the most interesting character of the series. Would gladly watch something with her having the most screen time.

^^^ this. I do feel bad for the other demons who blindly put their trust in Azazel though.

In any case, I feel like huge character growth and development will happen with Nina which is why they did her whole "teen crush" arc so early, esp since this series is going to be 24 episodes. After all, she is not blind to the injustices of their world and frequently acknowledges them (like that time she fought that one rich man who was abusing his demon slaves). Although I love Charioce and Nina's dynamic with each other and the sweetness of her first puppy love, she's going to have to face the heartbreak and reality of their situations VERY soon.

if just Azazel told her what he was going to do, maybe she could have done something, but now she's totally oblivious and needs to catch up before doing some action!

Well Azazel's plan completely went to shit. He probably should have thought of a backup plan, but I guess he assumed Nina would never be able to overcome her problem so he clearly was placing all his bets on that. I felt really bad for the demons that were helping him, especially the female one who got crushed. What a crappy way to die.

And to those complaining about no Favaro yet, I'll just copy and paste what I wrote in last episode's thread: I can't wait for Favaro to finally show up in this season so everyone complaining about his absence can shut up. Seriously people, it's been 7 episodes. We have SEVENTEEN of these left. He'll show up eventually, when the time is right. I mean, he's listed as a main character for a reason. Even then, this story isn't even about him so of course he hasn't shown up yet.

Oh my, demons sure have reached a new low. This whole assassination attempt was pathetic. You'd expect it to fail after an entire episode of fighting not, after a few minutes.

Anyway, judging by the next episode's title, the fact that Bacchus feels bad about whatever gods are planning, and the fact that this goddess clearly knows that this kid is Mugaro... I feel like the next ep will reveal that they plan something very bad. Would be fitting I guess: pissing off gods was always considered a far more dangerous deed than pissing off demons.

Honestly, she would not have helped him if he told her the plan. Even if she feels sympathy, there's no way that she would support Azazel's actions, especially not a plan that threatens the lives of the common folk (whom she likes).

Azazel's plan backfired epically. He doesn't do anything for her at all anymore and Nina is blissfully naive to his situation.

That end card though.

IRL, Dante is a poet or some old dude but in anime why are they always the name of a demon?

ROFL,..

Dante Alighieri was the 13th century author of "La Divina Comedia", an insanely large work describing a character's travels through heaven and hell. Many of later medieval as well as our present day images of what hell and daemons look like, are based on it, hence the author's name is often associated with daemons in popular culture.

I mean, even if not helping him, I guess that counts of doing something instead of her just walking around, wondering what was happening.
Who knows, the deaths could have been avoided if Nina "ruined" their plan or something.

The setups here just got very interesting. Azazel and the whole demon squad just got fucked over by Nina herself since she's only thinking about Charioce who is the king. So much can be done with these character binds now.

I still have no reason to root for the humans here since they suppressed all the demons into slavery and Azazel still has valid reason to at least put up some resistance.

So... Azazel's plan went to shit basically because he failed to make Nina horny for him.
It's pretty hilarious if you think about this.

While I feel bad for the demons who put their effort in the plan just to die miserably, I cannot say the same for Azazel. He was a moron for no having a back up plan and putting all his faith in such risky gamble. Plus that without counting that he was a dick trying to force Nina to cooperate with him without telling her nothing (and the fact he was a complete asshole in the first season).

Wow. Things turned dark real quick. It wasn't a surprise that the demons were defeated but they were massacred.

I was so frustrated in how Nina was so clueless in this episode. It may be part of the plot for character development and such but still it's pretty annoying.

As others have mentioned, Azazel was a complete fool for basing his entire plan on Nina transforming into a dragon. A complete and utter fool.

The way the demon lady was crushed to death was so brutal, it shocked me. I feel really bad for the demons right now.

Poor Azazel. He's been a broody, irrational fool for the whole season and now he has failed epically.

I don't understand why people think Favaro is going to be a main character. Sure, I have no idea where the plot is going but it seems more likely that Favaro will play a minor role in the show which I don't mind at all.

I also don't understand why some people hate Nina. She's a character with flaws. But that doesn't mean one can pin Azazel's failures all on her. Some pretty immature posters.

I am liking this season much more than the first seaon; the story is far more intersting and less predictable or chaotic compared to the first season. I hate how people are making comparisons betweent the two seasons while I am just considering them as two different shows.

Azazel tries so hard that it's hard to not find him absolutely adorable at this point.

This anime really does a great job of balancing the comedic moments and the more darker ones.
I laughed so hard when Azazel just grabbed Nina's face and decided to go in for a kiss despite how uncomfortable he obviously was. This guy just isn't a smooth dude like Charioce...he swept Nina off her feet in one night!!

I knew it wasn't gonna be that simple and that Nina wouldn't turn into a dragon. Now I'm kind of suspicious of Charioce though, I wonder if he already knows about Nina and if that ring he gave her is nullifying the effects of her thirstiness??
I remember Hamsa saying she always keeps it in her pocket or something. Or maybe Charioce actually doesn't know and it's all just a very lucky coincidence. For now, I'm not convinced...he just seems too sure of himself.

Poor Azazel at the end there. I really hope he doesn't die because I'm seriously starting to like the guy. He's so clouded by rage and desperation that he pinned all his hopes on Nina, expecting her to go along with everything without even properly filling her in.

Also finding Mugaro a bit suspicious now as well- it could be Michael reincarnated or something and I don't think he'd want to help Azazel. Info could've been leaked to the King...it might be unlikely but you never know!
