| Pretty whacky mecha series. It does honor the 70s super robo genre. It's entertaining enough to be pretty good. |

| The English Dub is the weirdest, most delightful mix of terrible and amazing. Saotome's Shakespearean lines, Ryoma's disappearing accent, GETTER ASS, it's all beautiful. |
| Hoo, a bit of mysterious events to uncover as the series progresses? Great ! And Saotome in the role of the mad scientist coming from beyond the grave? Perfect fit, since he never seemed really sane. Design and animation wise? Perfect. 4/5 |
| Imagawa does an incredible job here at making every second engaging, even it is a bit confusing and the characters haven't really gotten any time to develop. I did read the manga beforehand so I wouldn't be completely lost though. |

| I chose this ova series to watch first so about the first episode I was really surprised with how good animation and art style is, second which I love is directing by imagawa but I am confused af about the plot and how they chose to introduce character so it feels like i am missing something but I think they will revealed later on since it's standalone ova series. |
| For those curious, the piano piece that plays when Musashi hugs Genki is Lizt's Liebesträumme, No.3 specifically. Quite the beautiful one, if I do say so myself As for the episode, I liked it a lot, everytime I thought the episode had already set up what the main conflict of the series was gonna be about, a new development happened that threw my expectations off. This episode was a really long-winded introduction, seems like the type of story that they wanted to make is one that generally needs a fair bit in chartacter and plot development in order for it to happen, so they rushed all the prerequisites off from the get go. |
