 The first episode pre-screening event for the upcoming Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu TV anime has announced additional cast members, as well as eight character designers on Monday. It's based on the online and android/Ios app Touken Ranbu Online, it's only in japanese but you might want to check it out~! ^W^ Also an alternate version in the form of Touken Ranbu Hanamaru exists, with the same characters but it's more of a slice of life, cute boys doing cute things, with a some action sprinkled in here and there, while Katsugeki looks much more serious and dark, i can't wait for it too! :D |

So thankful that they went with a boy, instead of a dumb/naive/girly otome heroine. Even though I would have preferred a mature guy. I can already imagine him with a voice like Oz from Pandora Hearts. XD I think this is also the best option when they consider a character who is more gender-neutral/androgynous for both the male and female fans of Touken Ranbu to relate to. |
