The days when 17 owned the Z fighters during the Android Saga...those childhood memories ;_; 17 conversing with Goku is interesting. Might be the first time I've seen the two talk face to face. The fight was short but intense. I definitely think 17 is a lot stronger than before. Wonder what his wife and kids look like... |

| Dende mentioned Uub, for a moment I thought that character was forgotten lol Convincing 17 will be tougher than expected but he has a valid point. A hunting episode for next week, more filler but an interesting one. |

I think this is Truly the best episode of the arc so far, the fightin sequences were good and the backgrounds were gorgeous as well, I don't have much to say about the plot, i think i'll wait for the subs better,but this episode was hype!! |

| Since when did the Lookout become a transportation vehicle xD Gotta admit this episode was lit. Nice scenery and great to see 17 living his life normally. But wow them fighting scenes were so intense, idk which one was more intense Toppo vs Goku or 17 vs Goku, I personally enjoyed 17 sparring with Goku more. Still pretty cool to see 17 so powerful, and not even go through any sort of Whis type training. That cliffhanger at the end. 17 refusing to join. |

| Goku-17 first encounter, one of the most long-awaited moments in DB's universe, has finally come, and the arguably most forgotten competent character in the series, made finally his triumphal comeback. It was nice. However, I think it was just too over-the-top to make him as strong as a SSB (some say Goku was once again containing himself....but so was 17!). For me it was just not credible. So we just have to accept that now anyone can contend to a SSB just because he/she trained consistently for some years? Giving relevant participation to some characters who were for so long put aside will always be something to welcome, but they gotta do it properly, taking care of credibility. I think doing so just by overpowering them to keep them in-force is just pretty basic. I mean, somehow in a couple of years 17 managed to become more powerful than perfect Cell, Buu, etc.? While at the same time he had to do his job and raising his family? Where does this guy get all the time from? I think the writers are being too generous with all these secondary characters. *** About Uub: He had already been mentioned before in Super. This is not the first time the series acknowledged his existence. They did it in episode 30 when Goku and Vegeta were thinking about who else could join them for the Champa tournament and fat-Buu came into the conversation. He told him: "by the way, did you know that kid-Bu reincarnated into a boy? Enmadaioh told me". (By the way, that moment configurated an annoying continuity error, since everyone knows the first time Goku told Vegeta about Uub was in Z's epilogue waaay after the events of Super, in the martial arts tournament). |
| Goku would decimate 17 and he'd only need to go as far SSJ 3 (Even that might not be necessary as I'm sure 17 might be on SSJ2-and a half tier by now, but Goku could still beat him as SSJ2 if he really tried.) SSJB is a transformation that doesn't function completely on raw power and can be altered. So I'm not very concerned about how they're constantly using SSJB form against guys Goku could beat without ascending to the higher SSJ forms, although I am a bit salty about it and hate it. Goku definitely held back a great deal with that Kamehameha, and its been like that ever since his fit with Toppo, I think he held back a great deal with Bergamo too. These are just my thoughts, and I think I'm being rational with it and its the ideal way to summarize what's been going on with the power-scaling in the series recently. Coming back to the episode, fairly good episode and the animation was top notch for the entire 23 mins so props to the staff. I don't get it how the space villains find the perfect time to play a role. 17 will most definitely be in the Tournament, these episodes are just a phase and I'm waiting for something interesting to happen, it might take a couple of episodes I think. |
| Alot of cringey lines regarding 17 and goku's power levels esp this lastest battle of theirs.just absurd.at least the animation for the fight was good though. and they expanded on 17's character though from what toriyama said in a interview years ago.they could have at least showed us what 17's adopted children looked like though.i dint imagine they have character designs though. |

| Loved this episode. Already watched it twice. Probably my most favorite episode so far. The only things in Z that were just not credible (or "retarded" in some other users terms here) were the Piccoro's power ups. He couldn't even defeat Nappa, but is trained for a couple of days by Kaio (and gets a power level of at most 50k, couldn't be much more), merges with dying Nail (the namek who protected the Namek patriarch) who had a level of 40k or something....and suddenly we had to believe he was able to contend and humiliate the terrifying Frieza (and in his 2nd form with 1.000.000), the fearsome galactic emperor nobody was ever able to defeat, let alone dare to challenge ever. That was idiotic. And then...he just merges again with a Kami who couldn't be over 10k or something (since if that was the case, he should have fought with Nappa and Vegeta, right?)...and suddenly from nowhere... he was more powerful than a SSJ (as Vegeta himself claimed). For me both of these power-ups were simply unbelievable, irrational and just annoying means to keep Piccoro's character relevant. They should have found another way. However, I preferred to believe that 17, training and everything, could at the most be as powerful as perfect Cell or something, but not anymore. Why? because this supposed capability of unlimited power enhancement would imply a troubling possibility; that nothing obstructs this android to, if he proposed himself, become the most powerful being ever that the 12 universes ever knew, to a point where even he could contend with gods of destruction (well, in fact, he has already reached this point now he could contend to SSB Goku right?). This is the same as stating that 17 will always have the possibility to exceed any power level a god or SSJ could attain, which immediately trivializes power forms or levels that are supposed to be "respected" given their god-level magnitude.... |

| Bad episode. Just wtf? No.17 being stronger than SSJ Goku is consistent but taking on SSJB without struggling at all is utter bullshit. Also, we have No.17 refusing to participate in the tournament even though he learned the whole truth but next episode he will change his mind because he and Goku will defeat some random galactic poachers? I call bullshit again. The only good things in this episode were the foreshadowing regarding Uub and how No.17 lives in his new life. |

| The last we saw 17 most of us remember him as cell's meal so it's hard to fathom that he could even equal Gokou's blue form. I'm hoping in future episodes they'll reveal how he got to be so strong. I think 17 had his own adventures that pushed his limits to be this strong. |

| The whole episode was ok except of 17 vs SSB Goku fight (Mostly because it is make completely no sense), I really hope either Toriyama or Toei can explain how the hell 17 was that strong by just training 10 years long when the other human character like Tienshinhan never get that strong??? (This is make even more no sense than Frieza trained by just 4 months to surpass SSB Goku) I was trying so hard to ignored the power scale in this episode but it still bother me so much because of this fight. I will reduce my rating on this show now. So the current DBS power scale was like: |

| I'm calling it! 17's wife is Lunch! I mean Lunch is completely forgotten, and it'd be a good way of bringing her back, even if she's really old by now... I'm satisfied and also disappointed with this episode. I've always known DB for its simple plot, but I'm glad they're trying to keep the continuity. They mentioned Uub again, which means we'll see him later in this series. On the other hand, the power-scaling, and anything regarding it is a bit crazy again. I understand it that Goku held back his power a LOT, but No.17 is still really strong. Which means if he would have been present at the first arc, maybe he would have been able to go toe-to-toe with Beerus at least as much as Goku did...??? That extremely forced alien plot also seems annoying for me. Really? A small island gets invaded by aliens while Goku's there, with the excuse of stealing that minotaurus. I understand they need to introduce something into the story to keep it going, but I'm sure they could have done that in a less stupid way! |

| Yeah, pathetic. Exotic beast in danger of extinction is conveniently stealed by intergalactic poachers right when Goku finds 17 and tries to recruit him. Goku and 17 then chasing them (while there are only 30 hours left for the tournament to begin) and this event somehow will make 17 reconsider not-participating. Is this the best they could have come up with? I hope I'm really wrong. |

Cuz he is apparently on par with SSJ blue, now They introduce one powerful character after another. New universes, with even more powerful beings. Zeno, etc. I have seriously no idea where are they trying to take this show. Perhaps they introduce the boss of zeno next time. That manages every dimesnion and universes within them. |

| Honestly at this point, I have learned to ignore power level bcz they screwed themselves in the very first arc when they made Goku a potential universe level. Now they are putting everyone on SSB level just to show that they can hold their shit and using ki control as excuse. |

| The nostalgia was real in this episode. And it's true, that's the first time i've ever seen Goku and Android 17 talking to each other. Didn't expect that he would be that strong, but could anyone know? Nobody saw him for such a long time and if he trained all the time, it could be possible. But at the same time I'm glad that 17 is that strong. I hope he will accept in the next episode. Was also interesting to hear a little bit of what he's doing atm, generally about his life. I already feel sorry for these space poachers haha. Curious who will be the next person after 17 Goku will recruiting. |
