| I love that the OVA has its own OP. And the cool thing about it is that there's also an English dub version and it slaps. We need more banger English OPs. I also like the fact Ranma actually wears his outfit from the OP instead of his usual red outfit. The animation of the OVA is clean af, as expected since it's an OVA. This episode basically confirms it. Shampoo was a better character when she was a hardcore tsundere. I just like her being mean to Ranma instead of sucking up to him when she clearly knows he's not interested. This OVA was very different from the usual Ranma 1/2 shenanigans. Ranma is somehow stupider in this OVA than in the TV series. It was almost like a love triangle (if you ignore Ukyo's brief appearance). I think the romance of the show would've been better if it was a real love triangle. Instead, the story treats all the love interests for Ranma except Akane as mere obstacles to the inevitable Ranma x Akane ending. Akane finally confessed her feelings to Ranma... but unfortunately, it was through a shoddy plot device and didn't last for long. The ED was really good. Looking forward to the following OVAs. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Ranma 1/2 yet. |
| At first, it looks like a nice change of things when Shampoo acts hating on Ranma and he starts to feel troubled about it. But all of this is still driven by stupid objects where it never comes from their true desire at all, it's just so annoying when it ends with Ranma being a lame jerk and beaten yet again. Ranma truly deserved all of that all the way through the end. Shampoo and Ukyo still remain pathetic too. That ED is really good tho. |

| It may be a harem Kasumi, but it's a harem only Ranma could handle. Truly an example of love hurts, since he got all his bones broken messing with Akane, Ukyo and Shampoo. |
