 The April 2017 issue of Jump SQ, shipping on March 4, has been revealed to contain the final chapter of Kentaro Yabuki and Saki Hasemi's To LOVE-Ru Darkness manga. Two extra chapters of the manga will be released in the May and June 2017 issue of the magazine. The 18th and final volume of the series will go on sale on April 4. In addition, an OVA adapting the extra chapters, as well as a tenth anniversary book titled Trouble Chronicle (alternatively To LOVE-Ru Chronicle) has been planned for release on August 4.The original To LOVE-Ru manga was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump for 18 volumes between April 2006 and August 2009. The sequel, To LOVE-Ru Darkness, has been serialized in Jump SQ since October 2010. The series has inspired four TV anime seasons in Spring 2008, Fall 2010, Fall 2012, and Summer 2015, as well as multiple OVAs bundled with compiled manga volumes. There's soooo much left to explore of the premise which Darkness originally built up This has been one of my all-time favorite manga for many years now, but I have a hard time accepting it if it's really just going to end all of a sudden like this and never get another sequel. Probably because people are working on it that know human anatomy, unlike the virgins who spew out Highschool DxD, VDM, Shinmai Maou and other trash. |

Highly doubt you guys are tired of doing a monthly release... They're other mangaka who does this weekly. As for the OVA it's something atleast but honestly watching that ova and knowing no more new content to come is pretty effin depressing. |

From the fanservice side the series could continue forever for me, from the story side there should be some decent form of closure. If you like a series very much you can become invested with the characters, even if it's a simple story as this. To Love-Ru is just fun. It's light-hearted. Even if there is no new material you can always read the volumes randomly, that's why I like episodic series. |
