| decent vanessa flashback... yami in the past still has too less fuck to give... also, it's also vanessa that got power up, something that you wouldn't see everyday that it's not MC that got power up in critical moment with MC... how asta still hesistant even got controled by his left side really move me... he really have some pair balls of steel... well, he rejected being controled by sword previously after all.. also cat, lOl... the crature which imbodement of fate... lets see what this will given... |

| This chapter looked kinda rough at times, many panels were only penciled... I can't even imagine how hard it must be for Tabata and his assistants to keep up this level of artwork each and every week. Makes sense for them to break down sometimes. Although I'm not as positive as everyone else when it comes to this chapter, I do appreciate that it's not Asta and Vanessa instead who's receiving the powerup. Although I'm not sure if I would usually appreciate this in a different series or if my expectations are just that low because it's Black Clover... The flashback with Yami and Vanessa was nice |
| That was a crazy turn of events, can't wait for ch. 100. I'm enjoying seeing how powerful they are when they actually try to be good magic knights. Red cat has appeared, thought would be cooler looking but I guess that isn't bad. Finally good to see a little more detail about the swords and the 5 clover book, I wonder who the witch was referring too. |

| So the daring half naked drinker girl was actually a sheltered little child that knew nothing. She certainly transformed quite a lot by going outside. I guess she was overcompensating and letting her frustration out after being locked in there and unable to do crazy things and have fun. |
| This is probably one of the strongest chapters, probably cause it doesn't involve a conscious Asta. Vanessa is simple as the rest in terms of story but it comes off much stronger because she grows the most from leaving her home. Which is something this manga has a hard time invoking. |

| It was obvious that Asta wouldn't kill anyone, Vanessa finally unlocked that ability that even the queen faired, this should bd interesting. Yami cracking that wall like he's casually stoping a back yard arty, I love it. |
