 North American anime licensor FUNimation Entertainment has announced on its official website the dub cast for the historical mystery anime Gosick. | Wonderful series! I was sad when the sub disappeared from Crunchyroll. With their partnership I hope the sub shows up there again. Dubs aren't my cup of tea but I hope more people get to enjoy the series with the dub on Funimation. This is a rescue license, that's why they're late though they must have picked it up right after the past licensor let it expire. As to why it takes so long to release them, I'm not sure if they're just spacing them out or if there are legal issues or what. Negotiating for a dub might take time. |

Bandai then pulled out of the anime business and a lot of their licenses went on limbo. However, Funimation managed to revive most of their licensed series. Gosick was one of them.   All the Anime's on my list are all one's I own Personal physical copies of, or have seen in theaters that I plan on buying, series that I've watched on FUNimation or HIDIVE will not be on here unless/until I have already bought it. |

I agree I'm pretty sure every anime now a days if you buy the DVD/Blu-ray if theirs a dub on it, it'll also have subs on their too. I'm more of a dubber myself but say I wanted to change it to subs (if I was able to follow them) easy enough to do. (and sorry for butting in on your comment) |

| Considering the crap that they're willing to dub these days, I'd say this is one of their more sensible choices as of late. Kinda wish Nichijou got one though. I would say that was because of age but Gosick is even older. It's probably because Nichijou is more niche and harder to dub. ToG25thBaam said: I don't see any reason why they'd change it.
