| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Okayy the mysterious part is dragging on. Even I was annoyed and irritated of that weird ship-wide broadcast. If it was me, I'll probably have nightmares too! Rochina's turning out to be a prick after all though I can't say I blame him that much given the current circumstances he's in. |

| That music video would drive anyone insane. I still think it's meant to "awaken" Chirico so he lets go of his feelings of love, which are portrayed in this series as irrelevant to a soldier. And it seems to be working too, since he's just shoving Fyana away. I thought Rochina was pretty bad-ass for a second there, though I think he is getting a little obsessive about Chirico. I didn't like how the Balarant became aware of the PS Project. Chirico was talking to Fyana and yet, they "intercepted their communication". That was bull. But now they want to get their hands on Fyana too, so that should spice things up some more, with Chiricho being chased on three different fronts at the same time. Four, if you count whoever's behind the ship. :) |

It looked at first like a propaganda film (with the triumphant music), but considering the imagery, yeah, it looks like something tailored to drive Chirico (and specifically Chirico, since it's all about the Red Shoulders) to his breaking point. The question is, how did they know he'd be there? |

| Chirico is psychologically "cracking up." Given his current condition, Fyana is defending him and the ship against the current onslaught of ATs, but it looks like Chirico can't stay away from the action, as he's being dragged to it like a magnet. |

| I'm loving this dark, creepy turn the show is taking. We're seeing a vulnerable side to Chirico who does have compassion and love in his heart, but war has not allowed him to go through emotional growth. He obviously loves Fyana, but its a approach/avoidance dynamic with him. He wants to be with her, but is so closed off emotionally that he goes back to what he knows best: fighting. |
| Jeez what a dumb ep :/ Remotely controlled spaceship? Really? Dude killing tons of people just day before and now cracking up because of some video? Or having that little spacecraft and no troubles leaving the main ship and still not doing it? (Even if the main ship has locked controls, 24/7 surveillance and brainwashing videos slowly turning people to vegetables?) Meh |
