| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The match is over but I think Tsukamoto deserved some special praise for him boosting the team's morale. I find it slightly amusing that he still shows his fighting spirit alone at night. Pretty much a transition episode. On a more amusing note, I thought Chikako looked cute in that school sailor uniform! Days is returning in the future so I'm ready for more. |

| this series was surprisingly good and enjoyable to watch. they end this season with your typical sport series type. they rush it a little IMO especially when tsukamoto train with usui and then they suddenly ready to fight in the final. 7.5/10 for me for the whole series. it's anti-mainstream IMO for football/soccer theme which usually the MC have some kind of special ability but in this show the author didn't do that (based on my experience of watching a few series with a same/similiar theme) edit: did anyone here know are they use an original for the 2nd half of this episode? |

| I'm kinda excited for the second season! It's not the pefect Football anime but it's still something and it's decent. The characters are great and so are the teams. The matches could be better but are pretty good nonetheless! Still bugs me how they say "Soccer" and not football but i guess i'll have to live with that. 7/10 Could have been better but could have been alot worse and it's pretty enjoyable |

| Even though Tsukamoto played pretty well in that final game he was still not satisfied with himself. Hopefully these guys can beat Touin. Not bad, the start was kind of shaky but this show ended up being pretty enjoyable. Looking forward to the second season. 6/10. |

| Really good ending point, can't wait for next season, sad they didn't announce yet so we don't know when is it coming. Overall great show with a lot of likable characters, and great voice actors imo. |

| Nice finale to the first season, They decided to end it right before the match. Tsukushi not satisfied with his performance, really liked how Kazama said Tsukushi's biggest critic was himself. Glad to see Tsukushi influencing the others and even Chikako. That scene with Chikako in the school uniform and the coach's misunderstanding was pure gold. XDD Favorite part of the episode was watching Chikako work hard and come with all the strategy, that was really awesome. Love how Tsukushi's hand stopped shaking after that. Overall, There was a lot for me to enjoy about Days, It's a classic sports anime with a classic story, lovable characters and a good amount of passion and zeal. I guess by the end I grew quite fond of the guys at Seiseki and all of their quirks, Always loved watching them motivate themselves in practice and games. While I loved a lot of elements in the show there are two main issues I had with Days First, The match presentation. Football is a really dynamic sport and has all the potential to portrayed with enormous intensity and pressure. I feel the way the games were presented just didn't match upto this, Often we'd just get still-frame animation and a lot of times it felt like watching a running commentary. At max we normally get a few plays in a game. I think there were only 2 games over the entire span of the show that got some decent play by play coverage. Episode 23 (Not even the full game :( ) against Keiou and the final match of the training camp. One of the most important parts of a sports anime is showcasing the matches in all their intensity and glory, Just look at Haikyuu/Ippo/DnA, even All Out is doing a great job at it. Given how well Mappa are animating Yuri on Ice, I don't think it was impossible for them to do it for Days. Second, I don't like how Tsukushi's development happened. He's a complete beginner at football, yet for a large amount of the show he's left with tackling issues like what the team think about him or how the team gets affected or the fact that the 3rd years might be playing their final set of tournaments. All this is well and good, It's definitely in his personality to worry about these kind of things and him tackling and getting over it was not a problem for me at all. My only problem in all this is that, Where is Tsukushi learning football? Where are the episodes where he learns the basics? Controlling, dribbling, shooting, passing, learning his position, Where was all that? He definitely got better towards the end but it was more like, "He's better now and can do all that", It would've been much more satisfying to see Tsukushi working through and learning football instead of the issues he tackled. Try comparing Tsukushi and Gion from the currently airing All Out! , Isn't it much more satisfying watching Gion learn how to tackle and play his position? My apologies if I ranted too much. XD 7/10, Very enjoyable series, Would have rated much higher if it weren't for those two things I took issue with. Hope season 2 will address my first issue. As for the second one, I'll just have to get over it. |

| Tsukamoto is getting stronger every game and we see all his hard work paying off.Tsukamoto was involve in all the free kicks and that it is something he don't know himself. Anyway glad it's confirms that it will returns .Hopefully late 2017.. |
| Out of my 8 years of watching anime Days was the first sports anime I ever fully watched and enjoyed. I tried watching Kuroko no Basuke and Free but they didn't really do it. So when I started watching the show I thought I would just drop it, but I began to get really into! Ik many people are saying it's only average and cliché, but I thought it was amazing. Mainly just because it was a sports anime and I was surprised I really like it. So I'm giving it a 9/10. I really excited for the next season!!!!!!!! Can it come sooner! |

| It was nice watch. Although it wasn't good as other notable sports anime, I think you can enjoy it as a casual watch. Mizuki and Ooshiba's moments were the funniest in the series. The comedy was hilarious XD Somehow I wanted to see a show-off b/w Chikako and MC's childhood friend. I wonder how it would have played out lol Looking forward to the sequel. |

| Last episode of this season, a little boring, because all the episode is a pre-final match between Touin. The problem, that if you want to watch the final have to wait the next seaon/film/ova, i don´t know, but this was the best, last 30 seconds, of this boring episode!!! in summary, the season was nice, with the general plot, but the draw was horrible, and the matchs, how this last semi-final was horrible, because in the football the time is important, and the extra time too, but is not fixed how basketball o handball, is a little flexible, although do a match a little epic and dramatic is spectacular but, for me, don´t like much. The character principal, Tsukamto, is a nice character, although in the soccer is not the poker, you don´t arrive with a full and win the match, if you have full, is better go to a royal flush!!! 6/10 is my note, i am sure that watched, in the future, the continuation ;) |
YES!!! It finally ends but I'am still hoping for a second season.It is very amazing that I saw some amazing moments about Tsukushi. I'am looking forward for the next season however, I was expecting this season that the main character will be more powerful and agile but I saw it only for a few moments. I hope that in next season the author will give some real spotlight for this young man and I wish that he will be the beast of the beast because that's what I'am expecting for him. He will reach farther and I'am sure of that and he can show his true power. So GO!! GO!! SEISEKI!!! WOOOH!! :O |

| Ubukata is so cute! Good to see that she's being useful for the team. I found her to be quite similar to Mamori from Eyeshield 21. What's with that creepy face, Ooshiba? Can't wait for season 2. Just score some goals already Tsukushi. |

| Score: 6/10 In detail: This series isn't exceptional. The characters are very cliches and all belong to the same ideal: "We like to play with Seiseki and we want to win" It makes sense but the author doesn't try to develop them. For a series with a major part of slice of life, it was important for example to show more the relationship between Tsukamoto and his mother or with his childhood friend. The evolution of Tsukushi is interesting and is done gradually during the different matches. We finally understood in the second part of the series why Jin Kazama proposed to Tsukushi to play soccer. And fortunately because I found the beginning don't make sense. Animation alternates between 3D and traditional animation. However, in the last episodes, there are a lot of fixed shots that break the action. In the 1990s, I could accept it but there was a lack of money or time? The music is motivating and the openings are very satisfying. I spent overall good moments in front of this series despite moments a bit forced and sometimes boring, especially at first. I am not a soccer specialist, but I find that some basic rules aren't respected. Sometimes it looks like fighting. xD |

| I stopped watching around episode 11 and waited for the series to finish airing. I'm glad I didn't drop it. Days was a heartfelt and endearing anime with a wonderful variety of characters and some nice development. MAL ought to delete all those half-assed reviews made after six episodes or so. |

| Probably laughed a bit too hard when the coach misunderstood Ubukata doing compensation dating in a sailor uniform XD The only thing I wasn't feeling was how they skipped Hiroyuki's monologues and the part with his grandfather. Looking forward to Season 2 now. |

Literally the reason Tsukushi was so hard on himself and why he was crying; because he missed several opportunities to score a goal and make a mark for himself. I'll agree that his growth is amazing tho. |

| Days had its ups and downs, the second half was definitely stronger than the first. I am looking forward to the second season because I'm sure Tsukushi will finally do some awesome things there. 6/10 |
| Honestly I'm surprised I made it through 24 episodes. Days certainly tested my patience, but Tsukushi becoming somewhat useful near the end of the season made it bearable. |

I have watched anime for more than 10 years and I like to ask you to give Haikyuu! a try. That was the best sport anime I have ever watched and it's the only one sport anime to ever receive 10/10 from me. Kuroko no Basket season 1 was very good but the show got complacent after that in my humble opinion. I enjoyed Free a lot too but definitely not as much as others like Diamond no Ace or even Chihayafuru (just to name a few). |

| It feels like the author has never watched a game of football and just skimmed through the rules, because he certainly does not know how the rules really work. | I just couldn't stop laughing when Mizuki said 'namaste' all of a sudden. Overall I really liked this anime. I think this is one of the best sports anime related to football. Still I wonder weather Seiseki can win against Touin though. |
| What a great way to end S1 and I will eagerly wait for S2!!! If you paid close attention, Tsukushi won all three of those free kicks! Who would have thought Kazama would be a skaterboi! LOL at Kimishita so pissed-off to the bashing spectators! pettanko Ubukata is so cute with blush on that disguise student uniform! Ubukata researched the opponent of Seiseki so that at least she would help the whole team and make her really part of the Team! Tsukamoko with his generic shouting "Seiseki FAITOH!" 5/5! 8/10. |

| Tsukamoto is one of the worst MC in a sports anime I have ever seen. It's a really big shame when the other characters are really good like Kazuma, Mizuki and Kimishita. Pretty disappointed in my first soccer anime and I really was hoping for better. 5/10 I'm not thrilled for a season 2 but I'll probably watch it just for the characters I like that I mentioned. |

| Enjoyable first half despite writing flaw, second half has a dip in quality imo. I have the same complaints that I have with Ginga e Kickoff and Haikyuu: games feel like the players were trying to prove a point, rather than actually let the game played out by itself, like in Ginga e Kickoff; too much talking and forced jokes in game like Haikyuu. I also dislike how dirty plays rarely get called until the end of series where the story was trying to prove a point in Tsukushi's development as a player. I don't get what's so special about Tsukushi, as a player, as a leader. I mean, yeah, seeing how hard he works do get people pump up, but that's really all. It wasn't until the very end where he finally can do something worthwhile, before that it was all shouting and cheering, and tons of running. The games in the first half of the series were also more hype than the games in the second half where I don't really feel the stakes. Lastly, Ubukata is bae. Tsukushi needs to hook up with her asap. |
