| Mutsumi senpai with no doubts. First of all he was the only one who cared for her before she got skinny in first place. Shinomiya and Nana didn't treat her like a normal person and they were rude to her when she was fat. Mutsumi was the only one that from day one understood Kae and was always nice to her and let's not forget that in the manga he was nice to her before realizing he was in love with her and in his own way he is extremely nice and cares for everyone even though the others like Kae too.. In the manga you see much more of this side of him, in my opinion. If she doesn't end up with Mutsumi then probably Shima or Igarashi, pretty much because of the same reasons as Mutsumi senpai. Shima didn't know her when she was fat in first place but when they met and Kae returned to her first weight, Shima was super upset with the boys for trying to make her skinny again. And Igarashi because he realized he fell in love with Kae even if she was fat. Shinomiya and Nana are super nice and fun but for me they don't deserve Kae because until now we've only seen them interested in her for her looks, but hopefully that will change. Even though I doubt my opinion will change, Mutsumi is the perfect guy for her. Kae and Mutsumi should end up together and Shima should fall in love with Igarashi, I think they would look super cute together. This might be mean but Shinomiya and Nana could find some other person to love ~ |
| I believe that Mutsumi-senpai is the only one for Kae, I don't even need to think to answer this one. If for some reason she cannot be with Mutsumi, Nishina is the only other good choice. Kae deserves someone who likes her for her and isn't superficial. Igarashi may claim to like her for who she is now but it wasn't like that originally, therefore I cannot respect him. |

| Matsumi Senpai is my fav , Nanashima is my fav too but he was jerk to her So I ship with either of these but my vote goes to Senpai ....He respects her opinions, he was nice to her since d beginning . |

It might be quite obvious, as many of the fans are shipping Kae with him, but I'll ship Kae x Mutsumi all the way~ I just can't ship Kae with Shinomiya or Nanashima, but I don't know if I have a reason to don't like those ships. |

| I go for Kae x Mutsumi-senpai the most. Senpai is so sweet and reliable. Then I ship... 5x7 Igarashi x Nishina (would be interesting... given their rivality) Shinomiya x Thor Mutsumi senpai is the best. |

Igarashi got that side hoe so he Gucci. |

| At the start I've always preferred Mutsumi for Kae even if I knew there was a lack of romantic feelings on his part. And as the story progressed, Igarashi kinda climbed up in my ranking and he tied with Mutsumi with Nanashima right after them (sorry Shinomiya, I like your character but not as a potential boyfriend for Kae lol). Now after finishing the anime, my final choice is still Mutsumi (I'm still convinced if that if the story progressed and if Kae really had to choose one, she would choose him), with Igarashi and Nanashima tied in second place, and Shinomiya and Nishina tied in 3rd place. |
