shichika could have saved togame by stabbing her with akutō bita..... that's literally what the sword is designed for. rejuvenation. enjoyed the anime but a little salty over how it ended....

Seems like we finished the anime at the same time, yeah, but i don't think that was what togame wanted, i was a bit salty too but he gets the best of the two princess in the end so, why not.

Edit:And, well he didn't have the sword nearby anyway

Right... I think she is happy with what happened, because she was relieved of having to kill the man she loves.

I'm surprised there are so many people who arent fully satisfied. I think it's a masterful ending.

Akuto Bitou does not heal you though. It only electrifies you to make you not feel any pain/injuries and go past your own physical limits. It rejuvenates you, but it does not heal. Togame would have still died with the two bullets that went through her, but she may not have felt it.

I doubt doctors of that time could heal it though.
At least I would prefer to think that way, to not become salty along with others :P
