| I'm only about 20 episodes into the original series for Fairy Tail, but I've been somewhat excited to watch this OVA. I was wondering if there would be any major spoilers or reasons to avoid watching this until a later point in the series or when it's completed? If so, could you give me a vague foresight on the kind of spoilers I would be exposed to by watching this OVA? Thank you. |

| There are (minor) spoilers, but nothing that would ruin your enjoyment per se I would think. I guess it depends on how highly you value the story experience. |
| if you want to enjoy the whole fairy tail experience you should watch them after finishing the 2009 anime at least. |

| Honestly @primaltare you really shouldn't watch this without watching the rest of the series. 1. It'll be hard to follow 2. Lots of characters you haven't met yet 3. A few spoilers 4. It's a REALLY SHITTY OVA. Like it's just awful I wouldn't even really bother at all honestly and you'll get much more enjoyment out of watching the actual series unless you like poorly done fanservice geared at immature, horny 13 year old boys. 5. The redeeming qualities of this OVA is the focus on 2 characters you haven't even met yet. I say all of this as a HUGE FT fan, by the way. I cosplay both Mirajane and Laxus, 75% of my fanart is Fairy Tail, I'm MirajaneStrauss on tumblr, half of the posters in my room are fairy tail, I host all the cosplays gatherings at SoCal conventions, I literally have Hiro Mashima's autograph, my art got put into one of the FT volumes, I host events in the fandom, LOOK AT MY BANNER AND ICON, etc etc. So I'm saying this as a fan, not as someone who hates FT. |
