| it's a decent but pretty weird first ep. You don't really get told why things are happening, and the momentum of the story drops out almost immediately when Hikage lands in the village of forgetfulness. (he's been sent to kill his friend, as Marou somehow witnessed their leader's death? by the way Marou was a demon baby) The story of the village itself is pretty good though. |
| This anime be like "random bullshit go!" Lol. Though for what it seems, the old man and that woman with the long black hair covered up the disappearance of the villagers, because Maru has been eating them. |

It is a bit like Berserk where the friend might be reborn again but with demonic powers.
| @almightybismarck Supposedly, the manga released before Berserk, and even this OVA released before the Berserk manga. Kento Miura was a fan??? |
