| I'm almost 30 years late but just finished it. Funny to see the jealousy table get turned on Ranma. The fanservice dragon fight brought out some lols. Love the DoCo music. Good stuff overall. |
| A different OP and ED? I thought it'd reuse the same one as MAL said. Guess these two specials were released separately. The OP doesn't have an English version and I wonder who the guy Akane's with is? The dub ED from this special was reused in Movie 3 it seems. That's why it sounded different. They're two different songs which I failed to recognize. Anyways, love all of them. I don't understand why girls who aren't in the special are in the OPs and EDs though. This was a very good special. Akane wasn't a damsel in distress but actually useful. I don't hate her or anything, I'm just very disappointed because most of the time she's not as well-written as she could've been. Anyone else think male Ranma looked feminine in this special? Not in all shots, only sometimes. |

| Shinnosuke seems genuinely a much better guy than either Ranma or Ryoga ngl. The perverted Shen-Long and crossdressing war are pretty much Rumiko shenanigans but I'm not expecting those dragons to be a pervert. The ending with Ranma's hand reaching out for Akane is quite cute. |
