| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I loved how Shinji handled Toji in this chapter. The manga makes Shinji into a much more plausible character; he’s now a person I could reasonable expect to see in a school. I’ve always been fascinated at Gendo’s interest in Rei as compared to Shinji. I’m excited to see how this triangle will play out in the manga. |

| That Shinji lad is one pesky one, isn't he? It makes it easier for the viewer to connect to him, imho. Elsewhere its pretty much the same. Finally Rei is in more than one panel per chapter... |

| I like how the story manages to be emotionally engaging but also has very interesting lore as well. Such a great series |
