| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode has reminded me of how much I completely hate anime piano scenes They are soooo completely fake and lame And Mayu's song wasn't even that pretty :\ But this episode had me dying of laughter At the bowling ally and the video arcade Especially the shooting game that was "Your Dead" XDXD I'm starting to personally like Mayu :3 She's just annoying when she's with other people |

| I really cannot stand this girl. And I hate the way she says his last name <--- I should mention that when I say that I'm watching the dub. So I doubt her saying his name in Japanese would be so annoying. It's said in the English dub kinda like this"Han-NAAbisii-SAmA" or something like that. With the cat letters drawn out in a annoyingly soft whiny voice >_> Makes me want to slap her. Though, I've got to admire her determination at timed. I still pretty much hate her though. I loved Tina and the chauffeur in this episode. |

| "You Dead"! I can't say that I agree with sailorlitakino here, piano scenes are usually among my favorites in anime. This one, however, was pretty lame. For something so expressive as a piano piece, you have to put at least a little bit extra effort into the animation/direction, right? I kinda like Mayu when she's not just "person to argue with Tina", but that side of her has been so undeveloped that her character is hard to appreciate. This episode was a good step towards fixing that, but a bit too little too late for me. |

| A nice Mayu episode, I almost thought she was gonna confess on the boat but I guess she kinda wears her feelings on her sleeve already so that wouldn’t make sense lol. I also liked her piano playing, it was a pretty song they used, and I didn’t actually think of this while watching but I guess the folks here are right that they were a bit lazy by not showing her hands on the keys, it didn’t hurt the scenes for me tho. Now Mayu just needs to learn how to play “Easy to Love You” and she’ll have Kaoru begging to marry her lol, at least that would work on me. |
