The security guys pisses me off..

Luckily, Sora came to Yuzu this episode. The duel felt pretty generic but I did like how he kinda reforms and fights for her. Plus they both use fusion so that works out quite well.

Sora's involvement this episode also expresses his idea about where he from. I think he is trustworthy enough for now. Go Fusion~

I love the Tag team of Sora and Yuzu and the friendship is going stronger xD
and it seems Roger planning to put something to Yuya so he can control Yuya like how he did on Sergey and Security people..(please die Roger :/)

The Fusion Death Waltz was very similar to the Beauty and the Beast story.

Kind of also relates to the relationship of Sora and Yuzu. Sora originally saw everyone as an enemy and a mission of sorts, but Yuzu was very trustful of him and learned new tactics like Fusion from him.

This episode really characterized Sora and Yuzu a lot. It's nice to see Sora being trustworthy. I'm going to believe that he's going to be a protagonist from now on.

So it's Yugo Vs. Serena next episode. Things will surely get ridiculous. (Especially since Yugo is usually a comic relief)

I really liked that Tag Duel, it was fun not to mention entertaining even though it was practically an OTK duel. Dat Duel Disc Sora has though; he can just warp any dimension he wants to! And I also like how Sora's starting to change, he's not as bad as I intially thought. Good thing he dropped that retarded plan of swapping Serena for Yuzu.
Now Yuzu's going underground to hide, and I wonder how everybody's going to react to her just entering there with Ninja and the kids. That way we'll also finally see the other Lancers together; wherever Yuzu goes she also brings screentime to some forgotten characters! (/not hating on her btw, i'm a yuya & yuzufag so...)

The suffering continues for Yuya and the part which I'm mad about is that Jean's about to put brainwashing chips into his brain as well. I hope it doesn't either work on him or the moment it activates it breaks due to it activating Berserk at the same time. But please, can't the kid have a break from suffering already? ;__;

Oh, come on! Unable to Duel with the way he wants and being accused as a traitor is not a torture enough!? Just how many times the animation staff want to make Yuya suffer until he finally grow as a character!? If this scenario will really happen, it's too much for! (TT_TT)

That's it. I don't think I can look forward for the next few episodes... I'll stop watching and reading any discussion related to this series until I heard a good news about Yuya... Bye bye for now, Arc V~

looks like many people are scared that JMR is going to put mind control into yuya and thinks that he will succeed. JMR is truly a manipulative Bastard and worster than Leo. Leo does has some standard for ex: he sent reiji back to home instead of carding him.

not only he is planning to do that to yuya but also to selena and jack as well. judging from episode 84 preview yugo screams in concern and looks like JMR has succeeded in capturing selena.

academia really needs to invade before he puts the mind control into Yuya. i hope that in episode 85 we will get to see academia starting for invasion in synchro.

They said that the gang will be visiting XYZ and Fusion dimension and this synchro arc is getting to long and the series is half completed and arc v will end in 2017

Well he is still Leo's son so I guess he doesn't even think about carding him. Well, at least we don't exactly know yet. Nah, I think he won't be placing brain chips into just everybody's heads. He just wants to create his KINGDOM with his pawns and thus wants to wipe Jack out. As long as Jack's the King, he can't do as he pleases. And Serena's pretty much just a hostage in case Academia comes knockin' to Synchro's door and causing a mass murder around just like in Xyz & Battle Royale.

And I also think that he's trying to make Serena win in anyway as possible, even to the point of sabotaging the highways or forcing Yugo to lose in some way. It seemed like he was changing the highway (so that Yugo would fall or something, automatically making Serena the winner) but it won't that easy. Roger doesn't understand what kind of a mess he has gotten himself into with the dimensional counterparts, DRAGONS and bracelets.

i got to agree that reiji is a bad boss as well. he barely duels and takes any action. he only lets his men do everyting for him and watch them get carfied while reiji himself will nicely watch and wait instead of dueling. but i don't think he will get carded since he is one of the main characters

i don't think yugo will fall from the highway since he is very acrobatic and skilled in using duel runner

So, it's confirmed that Yuya will duel Crow next. Interesting.
That means Yugo will duel against Sergey later.. Implying that the winner of Yugo vs Serena is obvious already..

But what if the highway just gets taken away in front of him? No way he can just jump through the gap that it makes (unless he does something like the rainbow Yuzu did in her first duel). Or unless he of course goes somehow flying with his D-Wheel/uses his monster in the same fashion as Shun with Revolution Falcon.

You know, why is Roger so determined to put Yuya under his control? Why isn't he trying to get Jack on his side? The guy mopped the floor with Yuya very easily even when Yuya spammed. So why is he so obsessed with trying to get Yuya on his side, when Jack is clearly stronger than him? That doesn't make any sense to me. Plus now he's trying to gather good Duelists to help defend against Academia, so that's even more reason why he should be focusing a lot more on trying to get Jack on his side first than Yuya. Yuya may have more summoning methods, but it doesn't change the fact Jack owned him easily. I hope they intend to fix that plot hole, because for all intents and purposes, he should obviously want to get Jack on his side more than anyone else. If the reason is he thinks it will be easy to persuade Jack during or after the tournament, then I hope they say it at some point.

Okay so this is the beginning of Sora's redemption arc, well he still has a lot of work to do, he still has to learn what his people did to XyZ dimension was wrong and they are not his world's play thing. Before we all forgive Sora's, let's remember that. I am not saying it was his fault, but still he has an attitude about that, that I can't get past that. If I am Yuya I am not being friends until he realizes how evil his past action has been to other people.

It was nice that those kids consider Yuzu part of their crew. That was sweet, and no way Jean is going to successful just Yuya into his pawn. We have seen protagonist get brain washed and manipulate to turn evil in the past, but never the main character. That would be a first, but I don't see it happening, even though that would be cool. Besides we already have Yuri on the show, we don't need an evil Yuya.

So the semi finals it is Yuya vs Crow and hopefully by the end of that duel Crow will smarten up and realize Yuya is not his enemy, and Yugo vs Selena. Well this is the closest we have gotten to a serious Yuya vs Yuzu duel, I know they dueled in the second episode but that was just an exhibition, and if Jean has his way, it won't be the last, he has already predetermined the finals, it will be Yuya vs Selena which shows how crocked the Friendship Cup is, I wonder if it was predetermined that Jack was going to win in the previous tournament. I wonder if Security is going to do anything to rig the duels to fall into their favor, which would not help Yuya's case that is he did not strike a deal with Jean. But for the time being the next duel is Yugo vs Selena.

I see 2 possible ways it can end. 1- They actually do it and it links with Sora's redemption arc, replaying their battle royale duel, this time sora trying to make his friend realize what he's doing. 2- They just can't get it to work because Yuto and/or the darkness is causing an interference inside Yuya's mind (side effects would be cool though, like Yuto taking over or Yuya in a perpetual berserk state)

And we all know Yugo has to win so he can duel Yuya.

Seeing the second possibility (the one about Yuto) doesn't sound so bad... Berserk Yuya is so cool after all~ :D

I'm just guessing but maybe Jack just became to strong for hin to control or to stubborn. Probably something like that. Otherwise no idea xD

Sora, maybe he is kinda trustworthy. But he has to prove it with actions. Not words. what should he do? admit he was in the wrong for attacking the xyz dimension and he should mean it.
cry about it? no. crying will not make me believe his words and i don't wish to see him cry about it either.
Gotta make action. so for now he's on the radar on sus people list.
it looks like he's gana try saving yuya somehow.
also he shoulda sent Yuzu back to her dimension when she was sleeping. he realized it too late.
Ninja guy shoulda got his revenge and dueled right there to avenge his brother who was turned into a card by sora.
but he'll wait ✋ , lol.
Jean is gana put a chip on yuyas brain to control him. yikes. How will Yuto react to that in Yuyas body.
maybe Jean will control Yuya and Yuto will take over Yuyas body and Jean won't have any control on Yuyas bodies action.
Also Jean threw Yuya in a dark Room with no light.

Yugo vs Serena, Yugo wins because the OP shows Yuyas Dragon vs his dragon.
