| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was interesting. The duel between Crow and Kurosaki reaches a climax. Quite impressed at how Crow managed to survive and is able to counterattack a bit. It looks like Kurosaki manages to bring out his ace with 3600 attack and an impressive overlay ability. I'm surprised that Crow won this duel. |

| The duel was weak as hell and certainly didn't live up to the hype, which is a shame. It could've been so much better. The pacing was so slow and Jean's conversation with Yuya took much more time than it should. Honestly, that should have been saved for a plot episode, because the duel itself suffered greatly by it. Leaving the mediocre duel aside, that was probably one of the best episodes of the synchro arc so far in terms of character development, especially Kurosaki's, which he needed badly. It showed that he has other emotions than rage and it's not only "Muh, Ruri" or "Fusion scum". Also Crow and Shun becoming BBBF (Best Bird Bros Forever) was, hands down, the best part of the episode. I didn't expected Shun to open up to someone who wasn't from Heartland, given how he treated the rest of the Lancers. |

The equip card Crow's monster had on protected it from card effects until Shun's Ultimate Falcon negated all Crow's card's effects. I'm satisfied with the character development shown here, but am disappointed with how predictable the outcome was. Of course they want to keep Crow in the game for now since his friendship with Yuuya has been shaken by Shinji's accusations. But I would have preferred Shun to win and face off against Yugo, the one who beat his friend Yuto. Oh well, I guess I'm a little biased too as I didn't want the Black Feathers to win since that's the archetype my brother uses irl. Annoying swarming jerks, just die already. |

| shun played better kind of a shame that he lost but oh well. that level 5 synchro though  this card is insane you get to revive a monster and then re-synchro this card is totally gonna help the deck irl. |

| that was awesome, best dual in arc-v so far for me (my 2 fav characters, deck archetypes in the franchise) i was getting bored of yuya's whining about smiles, and his ass pulls of cards that weren't in even in his deck before the dual. |
| Crow and Kurosaki becoming BFFs was a tad bit rushed through, not gonna lie. The immediacy and severity of the transition from doing nothing but constantly tearing into each other to not having any bad or mixed feelings whatsoever should’ve felt a lot more natural. Oh well. At least Kurosaki has a friend now I guess. |

| This duel was TOTALLY AMAZING!! I don't like Shun losing (specially after summoning his ultimate monster), but it was still an amazing duel!! And he smiled :D |
| I think either Yuya's duel with Serge will be forefeitted because Sergei's implants are hosed or they will duel and Yuya will go berserk mode. |
| I totally did not expect a Rank 10 RaidRaptor or a Level 12 Blackwing. I can't wait for that Level 5 Blackwing Synchro and that level 5 tuner, i went total fangirl crazy at that point. |

| So, Kurosaki and Crow are the same at some point, but Kurosaki is cooler and calmer one. I wish he won this duel. |

| The duel itself wasn't that great, but I'm so happy to finally see more to Shun's character. He's my favorite by far and I've just been waiting for them to do something with him. That calm, genuine smile at the end <3 It would be nice if Shun started to act a little...nicer to the other Lancers later too, but I don't have much hope in that lol With him out of the tournament most of my interest is gone, and there wasn't much in the first place so I hope it's almost over :v Things have been going downhill slowly for me. |

| Kids. They never listen. Of course Crow won. Older Yugioh characters don't lose to new ones...unless they're like the Meikyu brothers, which no one gives a damn about. I know some BS is going to happen in the future because Yuya has plot armor on it. |

| I thought crow was gana lose this vs a monster who undestroyable (expect by battle) , but crow managed to take that boss monster down, that was so epic. also the part where Shun (Kurosaki) saves the child riding his Raidraptor was awesome. See, the monster are physical. if you wanted too, you can fly with a raidraptor anywhere just like Shun did. Imagine if they have Flying duels where you ride your monsters flying like in these races duel. Yeah see, Jean was bad. now he locked up yuya. and is aiming go capture yuzu. too bad yuya didn't accomplish much by attacking him. He looked like a child trying to mess with a grown up dad by tugging their shirt and he the guy was like, what are you doing. |
