I wasn't really happy when I saw previous trailer, but... wow, the new scenes look really good! Voice acting is decent too, Yamato sounds perfectly. Can't wait for November :)

Hmm, although the trailer is very cool, I still doubt what is the plot of this series...
Is it just another bad digimon wanna conquer world like the previous Adv series or human or maybe it will be different and will take some of Tamers' style of plot?

You sure it's as canon as you say? They may have talked, and there were a couple of scenes that were cute, but outside of Revenge of Diaboromon (which may-or-may-not be canon anyway), I don't think Mimi and Izzy were as much of an item. She seems to tease her guy friends anyway, that's just what girls do. If it's more prominent in Tri, then that's awesome, I won't complain. But as cute as the pairing is, I don't think it was that widespread in the show. Besides, Mimi seemed to have more chemistry with Tai and a bit with Joe than with Izzy majority of the time. Hell, she and Sora had much more chemistry.

I loved Mimi's voice actually! I like the playful and flirty qualities to it - I'm enjoying the direction they seem to be taking her character. In 02 she seemed to have lost some of the edge she had in 01.

I really like Hikari's too...reserved but engaging at the same time. Takeru is also adorable.

Koushiro's voice threw me off - I thought it'd be deeper. But the only time he spoke in this PV was in a flustered tone, so maybe he sounds more serious overall.

I'm satisfied with the rest too. I like it. :) The footage doesn't seem to be anything new. I can't wait for the movie! It's gonna suck having to wait for 5 more after this...

Saw new comments on this thread. Wanted to see what people are talking about. Saw shipping talk again. Sigh. What did I even expect? I hope all of your ships sink like Titanic when it's revealed that all of the people ended up with some third person we've never seen in this anime. I'll pray every day for that to be the case.

Damn, you got it tough then, hehe. I don't have issues with Omegamon or Alphamon though. Maybe these movies will make them more interesting in some way, you never know. But I really hope it won't just be lazy fighting and new evolution to beat the new bad guy. They need to somehow make everyone balanced and not just OP so they can finish everything with one blow. There needs to be something more here, otherwise Digimon won't get any new momentum if it's the same old. I mean, my expectations might be a bit too much, but after the atrocity that was Digimon Hunters, this needs to be great. If the only different thing they do in this is have Taichi end up with Sora (which rabid fans think is the main problem of Digimon Adventure ofc), this will be a fail.

Yeah, it is. These Royal Knights are the most disorganized bunch ever. After watching Frontier, X-Evolution and Savers, I pretty much concluded that most of them are dumbasses. :S

I liked many ships for the Digimon Adventure/Adventure 02 characters. Yamato x Sora, I liked. Taichi x Sora, I liked, for example. Overall I didn't care one way or the other about the ships as far as what would become canon or not. I liked the series mainly for the friendships the kids had with one another and their partners...although, I will say this. My OTP in a general sense is Koushirou x Mimi. Fan since Adventure. lol Just some interesting things I noticed unique to these two characters...but then again, I'm sure this could be done with practically any two characters if you look hard enough, right? Anywho, off the top of my head...

These two were romantically linked in Adventure via the love letter drama and this was done because of apparent requests from fans of the series at the time. To my knowledge, I don't think any other set of characters have had that type of treatment.

These two have had swapped partners and each partner was trying to get each child to understand the other. Tentomon was trying to get Mimi to understand Koushirou and vice-versa for Palmon. I'm sure this helped to better their friendship. I don't think this has been done with any other pair of characters in the Adventure/Adventure 02 continuity.

Maybe both have strange tastes in foods or have a connection to food. Back in Adventure, when the kids were talking about how they liked their eggs prepared, Koushirou mentioned how he liked his prepared with ponzu. I like ponzu personally, but never had it with egg. The other kids thought it was a strange combination...until Mimi topped Koushirou by saying that she liked her eggs prepared with sugar and topped with natto. They were both singled out for their tastes in eggs.

Original story drama, Koushirou was self-conscious about his height and told Gennai that he started to eat more so that he'd grow because the girls joining the computer club were taller than him...so my head canon has that he likes to eat a lot or can. Mimi is into strange cuisines and food combinations (thanks to her mother)....so yeah. He eats, she cooks. lol

World tour eps in 02....those two for their episode were the only two to have their Adventure character bgm themes play. I figured this was going to be a trend with all of the older kids, but they only did that with those two.

Probably some more....and these are superficial...but yeah. lol

I still don't know what it is about this ship that I love. At the end of 02, the only true official romantic pairings were Ken x Miyako and Yamato x Sora...unless it was the "unofficial pair" of the Adventure series. They did seem family-like.

I don't know about you, but one of my favorite past times with Digimon is finding all of the off-model moments and just having a good laugh and groan at once. I expected it with Tri, and I wasn't disappointed.
