| This was a great episode, pretty fun and light-hearted at the beginning but became somewhat more dark towards the end. I'm so glad to hear that the anime is following the light novel quite faithfully. Alice is an interesting character, I like his personality although his 'gay' act was pretty funny. His ability to hide in the shadows and also bind other people's shadows is really useful; very stealthy and perfect for assassinations. The restaurant scene was pretty funny but Stella tried to hard and failed. Alice is still quite mysterious though and I'm curious to find out more about him. Stella faced off against Bisho but was no match against his device. Stella was forced to strip naked; that was some nice fanservice but bad situation for her. Stella is so hot though, mmm. ; ) Shizuku was creating a water barrier with her device the whole time which was smart of her. I got so hyped when Ikki finally entered the scene. The action was incredible the OST captured that exhilarating feel perfectly. Ikki sliced Bisho's arm off cleanly too. I loved how his eyes rapidly changed and he sacrificed colour sight too, very interesting. Silver Link knows how to animate action scenes really well~ Kirihara comes and saves them from one of Bisho's people who pretended to be a hostage. Seems like Kirihara is Ikki's opponent for the Seven Star Battle Festival. Can't wait for the next episode! [b]5/5[B] |

| Wow, this episode was awesome! I can't believe I watch the same series after watching episode 2 of this.. Ikki's not that beta after all! He's such a badass in this episode! That Raiko skill scene though.. O.O On side note, Alice is pretty interesting character. :3 I'm sure she(?)'s hiding something... She(?)'s not just a normal support character isn't she(?)? Anyway, this week's episode ranking: Rakudai > Asterisk Looking forward next episode. |

Yeah, my recollection is that while his gender identity might be fluid, the indications are that his orientation is not gay. We've also seen that he is a pretty dependable guy in a fight, as well as being able to co-ordinate the imouto's wardrobe...pretty much an all-rounder. |

Anyways, Ikki is finally a guy who could deliver an ass whooping which is a big plus.. I like that similar to how I like Chocolate Road Ice cream |

| There was some great action in this episode. Felt bad for Stella, but it all worked out in the end. The hug scene was nice. Still not sure if I like Shizuku, but Alice seems like a pretty cool character. Looking forward to Ikki's match against Kirihara. |

| Remember reading the mall scene, but didn't remember the generic punk with the pink Mohawk. Enjoyed the silly antics in the beginning, with Stella going all Santa Claus on us with that whipped cream. Second half of the show was kinda sudden, but the animation was done really nicely. Very stylish "camera pan" movements. Kirihara is as big of a douche as I remember. I am looking forward to Ikki's fight next episode, but I'm not looking forward to Kirihara going all lewd and shit on Stella. fatalystic said: Ikki isn't a siscon, but Shizuku is a brocon. | While they did the fight scene better (the leap of faith was a fantastic addition), it lost a bit of the impact as that tattooed guy didn't even have time to react as Ikki took out both of his arms in one slash. Ikki's words that followed was pretty based as well: "Those wounds are nothing for what you made Stella do; I could have taken out your legs and it still wouldn't have been enough." or something along those lines iirc. I know they wanted to show Stella as a badass awesome girl but in the other material, halfway through removing her clothes she starts to cry. That was very touching as Ikki was in rage but couldn't do anything as Alice bound him to his shadow. They also changed the part when Ikki hugged Stella. Stella actually cried her eyes out and hugged Ikki back with all her strength. Fight scene (THAT LEAP OF FAITH): +5 Impact lost due to above: -1 Removal of Stella's tears and Ikki's rage: -3 Removal of Ikki's stare of death towards the tattooed guy after taking his arms out: -3 Removal of Stella's tears and her hugging back: -3 Overall impact score: -5 Episode rating: 3/5 Edit: Should be read for comparison purpose only. They took out most of the emotions and monologues in the adaptation but it's not bad for anime only viewers. The upcoming episodes will be enjoyable if you have enjoyed up until now. |

| Anime, manga or light novel? What is the best? Read the first volume and 6 chapters of the manga, but for me so far, the anime is being better, the manga has a lot of stalling and the characters seem to be more stupid, the LN also rolls up a little, but someone who is accompanying the three can tell me? |
