| Excellent chapter, around what I'd expected, they are going to be Luffy's men whether he accepts it or not. That foreshadowing at the end though, another huge event is a few arcs away. |

| This is one of the most important chapters of One Piece regarding Luffy's characterization. We've always known how he views the Pirate King title but never has it been so emphasised and accentuated. It was a perfect chapter for characterizing Luffy's views of his goal/ambition and the world because it realistically shows not only how passionate he is about his idealisation, but the ways in which that drives his motivation. The rejection was handled brilliantly as well; showcased the Grand Fleet's tenacity effectively. (5/5) |

| Love how the 7 'oddballs' drink the sakazuki even after Luffy rejects them. Just shows how much influence he has on others. And since this was all voluntary, we don't have to worry about some of them going rogue and betraying Luffy later on, as they seem to have great trust on him. But I guess they're going to move separately? Or is that how fleets work I dunno. |

| Damn. 800 chapters. A great milestone chapter, keep up the hard work Oda! Not surprisingly, Luffy rejected the alliance but I liked the tenacity of Bartolomeo and the others in forming the alliance anyway. Seems like we're finally saying goodbye to Dressrosa and moving on to the next arc. Also a nice bit of foreshadowing at the end. A "very big incident." Can't wait to see what Oda has in store for us. |

As far as chapter count it's true that we see Dressrosa earlier, but Luffy actually lands at Dressrosa in 701, finally leaves after the party in 800, so I'd say 100 chapters if for no other reason than to keep it convenient, but really you could look at it several ways and it really feels like splittin' hairs. :D |
| Really impressive 800th chapter! The 7 men understood what it means to be a Pirate King and it's to become the freest man on the sea. So they're all following Luffy by example hence they're doing what they want, and that's to pledge themselves as Luffy's subordinates even if he refuses. xD Fujitora smiles and expresses his gratitude to Luffy. :) He shouts it out loud and then he gets overheard by Sengoku. xD And nice way of using all that floating mass of rubble: Dropping them all to the rogue pirates that are after Luffy's fleet. ;D "Here's to our win against.......the Mingo Family!!!" > finds Baby 5 participating in the celebration LOL! So it seems that the fact that Baby 5 was formerly a member of the Donquixote Family is now just a thing of the past. Congrats to Oda-sensei for reaching 800 One Piece chapters! ^^)/ And the big incident to come must be the global scale war against Kaidou? |
| 800 chapters nice, kinda expected Luffy not to accept them but in the end they still do how they please xD. Fujitora is trully a boss, his reaction when Sengoku heard him lol. Pretty good ending for this arc. |

| Totally as I and probably most expected and wanted. Luffy refused for his freedom but they still plan to be his subordinates. So Luffy wasn't out of character and he still got a fleet. Win win :D Lol'd at how Zoro drank the cup instead of Luffy XD I wonder what the narration at the end was talking about with the 7 captains having their own huge accomplishments in the future. Should be fun. Anyway finally out of Dressrosa and he has a Grand Fleet for now. The awesome thing is I have absolutely no idea what chp801 will be about but one thing for sure it's gonna be epic! We can get anything. Kaidou, Other SHs, Big Mom, World Government, Dragon...etc PS...Loved how Zoro had his arm around Law's back at the end of the chap being all buddy buddy XD |

| I really like how it turned out. Of course Luffy would say no like that, but everyone else being as stubborn as Luffy by doing whatever the hell they want and joining him anyways in such a pseudo-alliance is perfect. And Fujitora, continuing to be such a bro, love that guy. With this, the Dressrosa Arc is completed, I'm assuming. What a wonderful story arc. |
